Is is a bug or that I'm just the luckiest guy in the world

I was doing HM mission with a PuG. I luckily got a lockpick drop from a monster so I wanted to open a locked chest. The chest dropped me 2 ELITE RANGER TOME!! TWO! I mean: how can a locked chest possibly drop 2 items. This must be a bug or something. What do u guys think

i can't see pic... but if its true, which im guessing it is, ur lucky i never heard about this before.

Happened to me, and a few of my friends a few times. I believe its caused when the same Elite Tome is due to drop for 2 seperate people on the map, yet whomever opens it first gets both. I believe this since when i was vanquishing with a friend, she opened a chest, got 2 elite rit tomes, then i was unable to open the chest myself, ie. she had taken my tome. I'll gladely be proven incorrect, but thats what i think on the matter.

Not a bug, has been mentioned several times before, though I have never been fortunate enough to get it . So I guess that just means you are a lucky guy. Go buy some lottery tickets.

If I knew you in real life I would kill you for that.

A friend of mine did even better, he got 3 ele tomes in one chest, and indeed two of us in the group couldn't open it afterwards^^

Once I couldn't open a locked chest because some lucker got 2 elite tomes as well...

Got 2 elite ele tomes from 1 chest. And lots of crappy purples too.
So it's not a bug and you're not the luckiest guy ever.

Luckiest? No, just borderline lucky. The chests do that from time to time.

You just got someone else's drop. Happened to me and a friend while we were vanquishing an area in the Echovald Forest. He got 2 Elite Tomes and I couldn't open the chest. It is a bug (despite what people think/are told) but an uncommon one and one that doesn't seem to get fixed. And if it isn't a bug, then why couldn't I open the chest afterwards . (no I didn't open it at all before my friend)
