I have a build that farms chaos planes in the UW (perma shadow form using sliver btw), but the biggest problem is outrunning the charged blacknesses that blocks the entrance to the chaos planes (the first group of charged was easily avoidable if u ask me, just let them finish their patrol). I was nearly killed by them even when I was using dwarven stability and dark escape (deldrimor rank level 4 btw). Not only that, I was doing it in HM. And I have a question to ask, should I, or should I not farm chaos planes in HM if I just want ectos. Because when I do so in HM, my average net ectos per run is around 4-5 ectos and I heard ectos drop more in HM. So, should I do it in HM.
And, ummm, here's my build template:

If you keep running without stopping while in Twin Serpent peaks, you can run ahead of that patrolling group of Charged Blackness, and completely avoid them all together. When you get to top of the hill, take a right, then down left, then up and right... then just keep trucking when that group patrols out to the left.
Drunken Master is not so bad if U spend a cheap 200g beer on it

This way you will save time, and not have to worry about those Grasping Darkness.
wouldn't that be a bit suicidal?
NM is faster and easyer if you just want ectos, and btw I would suggest just using dash as you can easyily run threw all teh darknesses no problem and traps. If they are already stationed in front of the place you are taking to much time in starting area. I would suggest just using the fire build and not kill attaxes.

Nope, its all all good when you don't aggro that group of Charged Blackness that patrols near entrance of Chaos Plains.

i don't bring any sort of run skill whatsoever and i never have trouble running past them, you just need to time it right.
they seem not to even spawn before you reach that turn up the hill, and you should refresh SF and sneak past them as they're heading towards the left side.
i still die often however because i often rubberband back into traps, or simply have no way through because of bad wurm spawns.
