Best elite when you were a beginner?

Mark of Protection, it was so fun when it saved your life for 10 seconds and suddenly ended leaving you defenseless.

I bought the game less than a month after the game went live, so the game was still filled with friendly people, people liked to PUG, and everything was awesome and new.

My favorite skill on my ele was pre-nerf Ether Prodigy.
My favorite skill on my monk was pre-nerf Offering of Blood.
My favorite skill on my warrior was pre-nerf Eviscerate.

I didn't have more characters because you only had four slots back in the good old days.

Glads Defense was the 1st one I capped but didnt really enjoy using it as it didnt seem to kill much

[[Word of Healing] was my 1st elite that i capped. Those desert mission monk elites are pretty useful.

My first elite was spell breaker. I also thought barrage was the best thing ever.

Definitely [Word of Healing]. It's the first monk elite you encounter in Prophecies, and makes your monk so much more functional.

I don't know why, but I just loved [Glimmering Mark]. I used to use it alot in '05 before I deleted my Ele.

For me it was [Shield of Regeneration], on my Mesmer. I think I finished Prophecies with that elite on my bar.

I thought Spiteful Spirit was WTFAMAZING. And alas, it was, and still is.

Oh, and when my friend(Who started when I did) and I found out about 55 Monks, we thought of them as gods lol.

Lol, not sure why you'd need it on a Mesmer, Fast Casting is pretty useless in PvE on a 1/4th cast spell!

Like tons of necroes: Arcane Echo Life Transfer! With stuff awaken the blood no less.

To be fair, LT is 234 damage AND heal for 5 energy. And you can echo it. Yeah.

Sigh.

My first character ever was a ranger so you guess it, Barrage. Mutiple targets hit, 5 energy, it just made out of win.

Yeah to bad [aura of displacement] is still better then moebius in PvP. XD

Anway mine would have to be [eviscerate] I remember when it was +40 dmg and 7 adrenaline.

My first elite was warrior's endurance, and I used that thing for the longest time.

Sniff i miss those days now. TRying to get to droks thinking i could cap it there. only to find i needed to go farther to get it, and for the life of me i could not get to the ice caves of sorrow.

took my ele another year to get there, and i think i still haven't gotten off my lazy ass to cap that skill

First one I got was Markman's Wager on my now long deleted Ranger. My friend used Mark of Protection of his Ranger and another used Word of Healing on his Elementalist. Those were the days when we were all baed at the game. Then I got better
