GWx2 + TexMod - Can it be done?

I would like to run two instances of GW, both with TexMod enhancements.

TexMod needs to be running and you use it to initate GW.exe, and GWx2 is also used to initiate GW.exe.

As I see it, I can use TexMod to get one instance running, but not two. OR, I can use GWx2 to get two instances running, but without TexMod.

I know that, with a registry edit, I can use two accounts on the same PC to get two instances running, but I'm limited to one screen and I hate switching between the two accounts to accomplish the simplest of tasks.

Can you guys think of a way to get them both working together?

mght not be as simple as this, rename on eof the GW.exe's and then when you select which instance you want to run in texmod select the one you want?

i was told by a reliable source that GWx2 violates EULA, i would be careful about posting in a public forums about using it at all.

The problem stems from having to launch GW from a separate application.

I REALLY doubt it, but maybe I can use TexMod to launch GWx2 (thus allowing me to launch two instances of GW) and have TexMod still provide the altered textures...but again, I really, really doubt it.

Dude, your avatar scares the shit out of me...

But OT, I wonder why it would violate the EULA. I'm not altering anything, I'm just running two legal copies of GW with two legal accounts.

I'm sure it somewhere in the legal mumbo-jumbo...

It violates it, but Anet (Or whatever dev on wiki) has given green light...

I've been using it since it came out. The EULA can blow me.

Damn you muscles...not again. Stay no topic...or I'll have to join you in hijacking my own thread.

OT: How about using GWx2 to open two GW's, then close one of them, then use TexMod to open one...hoping that it won't screw the one left open originally.

Be home in about three hours....

Won't work. You need someone to come out with an app that will allow it to run two texmod clients (or one client and one version of the game).

Only thing I can think of would be to run them on two different computers.

I haven't tried it, but could you tell Texmod to run the gwx2.exe instead of Gw.exe and it would apply it to both? Just a hunch, I don't have GWx2 on this PC (I have guildies that serve the purpose of account to account transfers)

Nope - TexMod runs gwx2 ok, but it doesn't apply the mods.

My testing never happened last night, as my power supply gave up the ghost. Overnighting a new one, so I should be able to get up and running again this evening.
