One thing that has always bothered me...

Bows don't have bowstrings! This graphical flaw really bothered me at first, then i just sort of forgot about it. But recently I noticed it again and it has bugged me ever since... wonder if Anet will ever implement these...

Bowstring = line. I don't need to explain much more than that. Most of the posts that will follow after this one will explain in better detail.

Seriously though, I think if they did, you still wouldn't see it most of the time unless you're zoomed in close. So close that you wouldn't see the battlefield and get clobbered.

Stern Bowstring: Must be replaced after 100 uses 500g

Personally, I'd have fun watching bowstrings twang when rangers shoot. There are probably enough people zooming in on their avatars nowadays anyways.

They keep the bowstrings in the same place they keep spare arrows.

Iv been waiting for my bow string on my bows for 3 years now.Its always bugged me too.

If you really want to get pissed off go look at open flap on your factions box,The ranger in the AB fight has a bow string(i hate that ranger so much for it)You never know how much just a little line makes something look so much better.

Seeing as many hairstyles have 2D parts, my Vanguard Assassin armour has 2D parts, waht makes you think the bow woul be any different. the bowstring (if implemented) would probably be visible from one or two angles.. :P

I think it'd be a feature for GW2 with all their "improved graphics", "dx10 support" and "guild wars as you have never seen it"- stuff. keep hoping and it just might happen

Wait for GW2. The engine will be far more robust and allow this without issue. Besides, ranger bows in GW1 are magical... they have no strings... don't be silly.

I'm more worried about where all those arrows come from.

its actually not necessary, Besides it already has a very nice animation when its being use, the "tension" on the bow when its being pull.

It's amazing how many spears my paragon holds.

Must cost a fortune to afford all those arrows, must have a good deal the the Arrow-smith!

Ironically enough you have to use a bowstring to add a prefix bonus to your bow :-) Never even noticed this, then again I don't have a ranger never liked them so I couldn't care less really.

Rangers in GW are actually Quincy, their bows use spirit particles to shoot.

But anyway, bowstrings never bothered me, you're a ranger, look at the field or the enemy instead of your own bow >_>
