well, only the most epic of scrubs mention their pvp title(regardless of format) as if it is indicater of talent or skill. All of them have/had glaring and well documented exploits. Lol@ screen of Glad 9, the glad9-10s in [WM], guess where they grind those points(it wasnt ta or even ra for that matter). Hey i play in ta and trust me i wish my title meant something, it doesnt. But anywho, titlewars,grindwars,buildwars are fail. Prophesies private server gogogo !(i wish)

What the hell are you talking about? WM was never sold, the core just stopped playing and the officers invited Korean friends who are all the people you see in RA/TA. While the title is pretty shit, Identity from WM is R10 and he's RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing amazing.

Drunkard and DoA title impress me most. Anyone with that much time to waste deserves some recognition.

Definetly the high level Gladiator ranks... I've seen a few 7/8/9's around lately and it still makes me go . GWAMM is impressive as well, (mostly because I watched my husband grind out treasure hunter on his mesmer and it's a bitch! ) God is losing some of it's prestige though, as it's more easily bought with party animal.

(Also, I once met an absolutely lovely guy who had a champion 6 title, that blew me away! )

Funny, its not even remotely disputed, Elite Zaishen Farm. No, [WM] is laughably bad in ta. Pythe is the only decent player in ta from that guild, hes glad7, case and point. Trapping Zaishen for days on end doesnt equate to skill which is why they stick to ra and maybe 1 or 2 playing when its completely dead. Sry for brief thread hijack.

Probably because I think that they're pointless, and I know other people think they're everything and they have there opinions and stuff... most people I know are only doing titles for GW: 2.

Titles are a few words under your name. That's basically how I see them.

Since the little trick with going to an empty district like international or asian so you can get your team together the way you like it in the RANDOM arena's people can basically get gladiator much more easily.

It's a stupid trick but it works, it does however, make the gladiator title a lot less impressive to me.

I'll stick to the Legendary Vanquisher, Guardian, Master of the North, Cartographer as far as impressive goes.

I do like to see the KoaBD title rank but the truth is, the higher the rank, the more stupid titles it will have to include.

If it was possible to tell the difference between a guy with 'I Have Many Leather Bound Books' (KoaBD r4) who did all the vanquishing and guardian stuff by himself without paying anyone to do it for them or use consumables, and a guy who has GWAMM who just bought everything, I'd care more about the first guy.

But really, it's just e-peen stuff. I couldn't really care about other people.

While the [WM] guys used to hardcore farm Korean Dist RA (when it was 10 wins = 1 point), they've been playing TA since the glad point update and they're decent at what they do.

The only title I would go WOW at is someone who had gotten 30+ titles, without buying any of the titles that could be gotten by other means(e.g using only the key/picks that dropped for you, farming, not buying the sweets, booze etc etc).

Since there is no way to prove this happened, i'll go with the most prestigious title for me personally is to call someone a friend. That can't be bought, farmed or leeched. That one has to be earned. How a person behaves is way more important and prestigious than a few pixels beneath thier names

Best post of them all. Nobody really cares what titles you have except in specific circumstances like when lightbringer rank is needed for Torment and with Ursans Blessings now that isn't even as important anymore.

My applause though would go out to those dedicated to getting the 10million+ faction required to get their pve only Kursick and Luxon skills to maximum. Those two are the only ones significant to me. You won't be buying those either like you can so many other titles.

Yet there's a whole thread of people talking about the titles that impress them.

You can pay people to FFF for you, it's one of the ways people earn enough money to pay for the other titles.

And as I said they are nobody. Everyone is a nobody no one is of any importance to anyone else on here really or even in the game. Titles are only important to the individual not to the whole or the community. It's no different than who's your mayor? Do you really care? Do you keep up with his daily activities or wonder about what other titles he has? Titles are silly self puff uppers and nothing more.
