Anyone else...

Miss the hell out of having Gaile around the forums and all the other contributions she made to the community?

Never did anything for me, Never got to talk to her, Don't even know what she did. So her being gone has no affect on me at all. But her leaving gave me a semi-fun event.

I do miss developer response, but not necessarily "Gaile spin." Of course, I'm betting they are one in the same. So, meh.

But at least we used to get to hear something. I figure something is better than nothing >>

The company doesnt give a damn about us. And I think people are starting to figure that out. They should hire me, I would ride their asses to give people what they want.

7 heroes? Done.
Easier titles with less grind? Done.
improved skills for pve and more balance for pvp? Done.
Complete Seperation of skills and items for pve and pvp? Done.
Remove loot scaling? Done!
Return items lost due to being hacked, Done!
Added benefits for titles, Done!
Invites to instance zones? Done! (so you can walk out of town and join your friend in his/her zone.)
improved chat filters? Done!
Larger ignore and friends lists? Done.

Bah! Cmon anet! Get off your ass and fix our game! Stop counting your money and fix the game!

I really do miss the involvement she had in the community, however I think it would be prudent to give Regina a few months to settle into the job before we start making any real comparisons. After all, Gaile, as we knew her most recently, had years to settle into her position and get into the grove of things.

Meh she didn't do anything for me, never spoke to her and i couldn't care for her to be honest. The only thing she ever did that i noticed was her farewell event which was somewhat redundant since she still works at Anet. She didn't really do much for the community in my opinon, except lag it to hell during her event!

miss her condescending attitude and that we the players were always at fault....and when ANET made a mistake 'ooops, they didnt tell me'???

Though I do miss the fact that she did actually post...though the posts were pretty well meaningless, but it let us know that someone at anet had at least looked at what we said....on that point, yes.

Right, because the real reason these haven't been implemented is that Gaile couldn't communicate well enough to Anet and absolutely nothing to do with the fact that not all of them would be positive additions, time/budget restraints (no sub fees = less dev ability etc...) and focus on GW2.

I'd love to see you attempt to pull those results from your arse only to produce a handful of steaming turd and a sorry shrug of smile while the entire forum rips into you for 'not doing your job right'.

It would make more sense if you link your question to the involvement of the community relation manager to an actual question that needs official response.

yeah, i kinda miss gaile, yes she was vague, but what do you expect her to do? her position wasn't a place where she could just blab about every surprise and answer every question completely and truthfully without ruining surprises or creating rumors, which happen anyway.

What i remember most about Gaile, is Gaile denying the existence of the mini polar bear during Wintersday. Nice to know the community manager knows what is going on. Lets hope once Regina gets settled in, that Regina will have half a clue what is going on and be some use to us all.
