Okay, this is a pretty well-known farm. I been using my 55 lately and i know someone who used to 55 the insects on the Plains of Jarin. But when I tried i ailed miserably. I'd get to first group and bring them down to about 1/5 hp, but when SoJ runs out, i cant keep my hp up, does anyone have a build that can successfully 55 this place?

SoJ
Mending
Essence bond
Retribution
Balthazar's Aura
Prot Spirit
Healing Breeze
Zealot's Fire
(can't remember last skill)


Plz leave any builds for 55 u have that can do this. Looking for an easy build, this farm isn't to support myself with money, but to do something when im bored.

Alternate between SoA and Shielding Hands for 0 damage, Healing Breeze incase you miss one.

This build can be used to kill the bosses(not the mandragor ones)

Beats the bugs every time. Not sure how this survives better than yours, but I'm yet to die with it.

Madriel, if i could tag along one of your runs, and see ur usage and timing, that would be helpful. On my runs, i get over powered, and my regen cant keepup after SoJ runs out and they attack faster. We are talking HM right? Just wanna make sure.

I deleted my 55 a couple days ago, actually, so you can't tag along.

As for the timing, I honestly just spam the hell out of Prot Spirit and Healing Breeze while SoJ is down. Between the health regen of HB+Mending, the healing from DF when reproting, and the inherent energy management, you should never even get close to death.

I used to do it as a necro using spiteful spirit 55ing it. Im sure this works in reverse as a Mo/N using SS

^That owns most of the noob islands except the ele plant boss, the mandragors, the skree with healers and some corsairs and bug mobs with healers. Dunno if it's the most efficient, but it works, if it aint borked don't fix it... Between blessed aura and prot+Shielding hands or Shield of absorption you're invincible, while getting constant energy from attacks and being able to spike one guy down hard with smite. Mystic is for if you get degened or miss one of your other prots.

All the irontooth drakes, scales, ibogas, bugs(para, warrior and ranger), the Boss Para bug, the Water Djin and djin boss in the first city, all the undead in the first city(and undead warrior boss), the floating ele plants, the scale necroes in the merwhatsit keys, and I think the scale warrior boss out there. It can also take on some corsairs for their scimitars, but since the mystic regen nerf you got to be careful about the degen from burning+poison and such. It can also take on the undead in the beginning of the gates of kryta ad the outside bergen hot springs, and wardens in the arborstone explorable.

I personally use the 330hp RIt build, this can solo everythin including the few bosses

to the OP:
your origonal build didn't include Blessed Aura. that will make your enchantments last 30-35% longer, and that should extend SoJ long enough to kill your opponents, along with lengthening your prot spells to help protect you more...

i'd drop Retribution for Blessed Aura, and drop Mending for shielding hands or Shield of Absorption. Retribution will only give 1-2 damage per hit with a 55 monk, so it is basically worthless and healing breeze can counter degen making mending unnecessary. Shield of Absorption can be on near constantly with the blessed aura and a weapon of enchanting, just make sure that you have healing breeze on for the second that SoA is down.

SoJ, blessed Aura, Balt spirit, essence bond, prot spirit, healing breeze, Shield of Absorption, with the last slot open for another smiting skill to finish off foes would be my suggestion for the area.

Sorry , but I must be graphically dyslexic or something. I suck at recognizing skills form their icon even though I mostly play warrior.

What are skills 4 and 7 on your bar ?
