That was an unbelievably misleading title. Thought this was about GW2.

About the screens, though: Yeah, they're betas.

It's a shame that ANet got rid of some nice-looking creatures. Those two armors there also could have been added somewhere, or been used instead of some other trash-looking armor.

I like the Warrior armor in the second picture. Doesn't make the warrior look as chunky.

Why do these pictures keep getting posted over and over again?
I think the ele's armor looks hideous, imo. :3

The ele armor can be found on a NPC in Pre-Searing.
The goblins are ugly and make me think of WoW lol. But I like the 3rd pic ^^.

the ele I think is in post searing too....outside of ascalon with the ambasador....if memory serves me. (checks wiki)...yep, she is there.

How did they go form those monsters to the ones we have now lol. Their completely different.

The big one in the last picture looks like that big slimy thing from Star wars LOL.

There's a mod on wiki that makes the HUD look like it was in the betas if you miss it so much

I'm so disappointed in the community sometimes... These pictures have been circulating FOREVER, they technically -are- older than GW itself. Yet no one knows about them... Go here http://pc.ign.com/objects/552/552148.html check out the images, the farther back you go- the farther back in the development of GW you go.

Yeah, GW looked like WoW at one point. Go figure, considering the co-founders worked on WoW with blizzard before leaving to make Anet. Pains me to wonder how many people don't even know that.

UGH. I saw some of Nevin's link's pics. THank ghod they changed it. They would have to change the name to 'GuildWars of Warcraft'. Also, 2nd warrior is cool cuz less chanky, but kinda a Diable Paladin copycat.
