I'd get kicked from my own guild under those rules.. which would leave my hubby bouncing around on his own in the (utterly pointless) Guild Hall we have.

Yes we do particpate in the odd skirmish against each other just for laughs.

You realize that everyone in my guild/alliance would be booted, including the leaders? What an great idea!

As already mentioned there are guilds/alliances that DO pvp at all. I joined one for that soul reason. PvP is not for everyone. Would you also add the option that every player has to do missions in PvE to balance this? What about PvP only accounts?

Bad, bad idea.

My guild hasn't GvGed in 2 and a half years. It's called a PvE guild. Besides, what about the new players? I don't think a lvl 5 wants to play full scale PvP.

/not signed There are 2 people in my guild we started it to get people to stop asking us to join their guild. We HATE PvP and never want to do it ever. Now wouldn't it be a bit foolish for me and my guild mate to be fighting another guild with a full roster!!!

Do some research and find out how many guilds are PvE ONLY before posting ideas like this.

Uh, /notsigned. I've been in a guild over a year, am an officer, and have never been in a gvg. My guild doesn't gvg. That's like saying all PVP chars should be forced to PVE through a campaign or lose access to HA. No sense at all.

I want to amend this proposal. Every female elementalist should spent one hour each month dancing naked in the infamous cage at the LA merchants, or suffer a 72 hour ban.

...why would we change the system to cater to the .001% of guilds who this would be useful to?

If guilds want to uphold an absurd requirement like this, then they should do it on their own. There is absolutely no reason why this should be an innate game mechanic.

how about if the guild that promises you that they PvP alot, and when you join, and you wait, and wait and all the time you see in the guild chat need R8+ only R5+ only. can I then be automatically assign as the guild leader?

New guild is formed. Guild leader goes recruiting, gets 6 members and trains them. Was looking for last member to GvG when timeframe is up. All his members get kicked.
