Okay, so lets say, theoretically, that i had about.. 1 month to farm anything for about 8 hours everyday. What form of farming would be the best to do? 55? 330hp monk? If i could play all that time, putting loads of hours into the game, what class/build would be the best for someone who has a load of time like that?
The most profitable farm.. ever?

True story : I switched to pve for a while when it was close to the end-year holidays ( 2007-2008 ), mainly because that period guildmates become inactive for pvp.
From nov/03/2007 to dec/10/2007 I got 120 ectos and 23 shards farming an average of 2 hours/day of solo UW and FoW with my warrior using adequate builds for each map ( you can find both builds using the search engine ). IMO those are the best farming spots to go solo ( FoW is pretty fun also, less profitable tho ).

FoW isn't worth farming until shards go up.

CoF Runs - Takes me around 40-45 mins to run. at the end i make 20K -30K on average. That is if i don't get good drops. In a day i usually end up making 100K+ with doing 3-4 runs. ( I'll give today as an example - did 2 runs and made 100K. I got 40K in cash from quest, money paid and junk i pick up. 60K came from gems, diessa chalices, golden rin relics and polymock drop. )

8 hours a day....The most profitable farming spot ever was Urgoz Warren right after Hard Mode was released. The very day of the release a guildie of mine discovered that the Hopping Vampire's and Thought Stealers could be farmed for Max damage gold Zodiac Weapons. The run took less then 30 seconds so if you loaded fast you could get 2 runs a minute. My best run I got 4 max gold zodiacs. The profit came from testing for desirable mods before I sold them as Unid'd. This farm spot was nerfed only weeks after the release of Hard Mode due to someone posting it on these forums. In those 2 weeks I made around 2 million gold only farming for 2-3 hours a day.
in my opinion the key for effective farming is having a lot of characters and farmspots. According to Anet, they deleted the Anti-Farm code (less loot after rezoning), but after my expirience, it's still alive.
I farm with 5 characters, about 5-20 builds/spots for each char. Choosing from different farms also makes it more fun, which will be quite important if you really want to spend 8h/day farming (ur serious about that? Oo)
