just because im kinda new to GWG forums he closes my first one. so, orriginal suggestion...make preperations, i want to say, Dual-aplicable. be able to have 2 preps on at once for rangers. it positivly horrible having to switch back and forthe from seeking arrows to chocking gas and wasting the 15 energy (10 with my expertise) to hit people with my build
[disrupting shot][hunters shot][choking gas][seeking arrows][practiced stance] Ect...i got others but i dont feel like typing anymore :P
anyways. tell me what you think of Dual preparations
preperations AGAIN. Closed. wow.

This would be waaay overpowered.
My main is a ranger, and have run almost every preparation in different builds. 2 preparations would be like having 2 elites.
EDIT: if you want more power, i would suggest trying skills from other classes. preparations are only one piece to the ranger puzzle...
-try conjure lightning for a (removable) power boost (my fav of the 3 because of the sound lightning makes when it hits)
-flail or frenzy can emulate rapidfire, but its not quite as consistant
-just about any weapon spell from the rit bar...they are like preparations but cost more and dont last as long

You're better off finding a build where you don't have to worry about swapping preparations. And remember, Expertise reduces the cost of preperations.

Yeah, I can see why it would be closed. Asking, "Can you make this profession crazy imbalanced so my build is more convenient to me?" isn't a good way to please the mods. Show how it would be good for the game(which you can't, for reasons mentioned above), not just how it makes your bad bar better. Or a mediocre elite, for that matter.
BTW, there better be a D-Shot in that bar.

Anyway, no. You shouldn't need to swap preparations at any time. If your enemy is blocking you, switch to a different target. And if you are using choking gas for it's interrupt, the interruption will still happen if the arrow is blocked.
Not only that but two preparations would be INSANELY overpowered. Apply + Barbed arrows, Apply + Incendiary arrows (yeah yeah, lolololol don't use incendiary nub. still though, 11 degen per attack is pretty formidable), RtW + Apply, etc. This would almost be as bad as asking for Barrage to not remove preparations.

Would be overpowered. The reason preparations don't stack with each other is because they are designed and balanced around allowing only one up at a time (just like stances).
Your other thread was likely closed because it was made in the wrong place. Savio even explained why it was closed (it was posted in the wrong forum).
Also, ranting against mods isn't really allowed... so this might get closed too. The mods aren't "out to get you." They just want you to figure out the forum so they can keep things somewhat organized.
