Hey ive heard some rumors of ncfost/Anet making a mmo for ps3 only.. does anyone have any news on how this will work or what it will be like ? or if you have any cool ideas please post =)

also ps3 haters dont even bother...

Ncsoft announced they were working on titles for the PS3, and using the Unreal engine 3, but no indication that includes ANet.

They do have alot of other development teams, I wouldnt expect to see any kind on Guildwars game on a console.

This was announced last year at Sony's Speech during E3. Haven't heard anything new about it, and even when it was announced it was barely touched upon.

Hopefully there will be more about it at this years E3, so watch when that happens.

Not sure how I feel about a MMO for the PS3.

If it's a free one, I might try it.

Considering the current hype around the upcoming Metal Gear Online for the PS3, it wouldn't be a surprise for NCSoft's upcoming PS3 product to be an mmo.

eh its not that bad PS3 graphics = win and just get a keyboard and your good to go.

You guys should look up `The Agency` for the PS3 that will be the first MMO for PS3, and it looks like it could work.

If the PS3 requires it to be converted to a PC to play this game... Why not just use a PC? Probably consumes less power. :P

Man if that came out... I'd either have to kill my roomate so he couldn't play GTA 4... or just get another TV haha. TV #2 doesn't sound that bad... so I can have more Brawl time ^_^

Note that a recent interview gives hints about this being a (slight) possibility for GW:

Well, not a fan of the PS3 but let's be honest , it can't be GW for the Wii in the future. MMO's depend heavily on downloads (content and patches) and the Xbox360 and PS3 have what it takes...a hard drive. That is the big drawback for the Wii.
