Event stopped early?

Being told that the collectors and rabbit have now gone from the districts some 12 hours earlier than they should have, neither are fireworks dropping any more,

I'm sure Anet will fix it now that they are aware of the issue.

Too late for me...I was hoping to catch one more party so I could get my double points but I come back to event over...and I have to wake up early for work.

Starting at Noon Pacific (-7 GMT) on Saturday and concluding at Noon Pacific on Monday, The Frog will make his appearance every three hours in the three festival cities. Bring your fireworks and prepare to party!

fireworks drops stopped too, no this is just par for the course for events, they are always bugged, the irony is that it's for the person who usually has to smooth things over when they happen

Well it did start earlier too...but I guess someone just screwed up at Anet's office.

I think the drops also started 12 hours earlier than announced. So maybe that's A.Net's way of compensating.

Well... I'm a bit peeved. The weekend wasn't a good time for me to spend a lot of time in the game, but hey, twelve more hours on monday, which happens to be an off day at work for me, perfect!

I got maybe 15 firework drops and then it stopped. Buh-bye cheap party animal title boost.

Maybe Gaile took back her "GW for Dummies" guide from the developers when she left.

That's the problem when ppl go. Suddenly stuff goes missing, pens, stationary, servers,...

Exactly what happened to me lol. I have to leave for work at 6:30 am eastern so right after the midnight froggy I spent 44 ecto on the remaining points that I needed for the title, expecting to use them at the 6 am froggy.

Just woke up and POOF, all the animals and the rabbit were gone. Guess they all decided to pack up their bags for the idyllic life in the country a bit early.

Hopefully Gaile can wave her magic frog wand and have them extend the event til midnight tonight.

Arduinna it's pretty much a given that any thread involving Anet becomes an Anet flame-fest.

That being said, I do miss the animals. Not enough to be moaning like that people here, but I do miss them a bit. Have been getting a few party drops here and there though.
