I've read some stuff up on farming Norn points and i just wanna kno if there is anything faster than just going to an Explorable Area and killing stuff for points i've been wanting to beat Proph in HM i did the first mission kinda easy but then i got to the point where my heroes werent cutting it in the 2nd mission stupid hexing char V_V .....anyway i think Ursan is the answer and i wanna know how i can get Maxed Title for Norn Title thingy if there isnt a faster way than just farming i guess i'll stick to the outside of Gunnar's Hold

Thx ahead of time for those who post

do the dungeon and quest books and turn them in for a respectable value towards maxing the title.

Easiest Way- Turn in 1 HM dungeon guide, 1 HM Handbook (Easy H/H) and like 2-3 HM runs from Olafstead and your title will be maxed no problem.

If you haven't completed path to revelations you can easily get a lot of points if you keep that quest and never turn it in (dismiss quest after killing bosses, get it again).

Tarnished haven. You have to finish all the other ones there first.

What would be the best explorable to farm for Norn rep? Varajar Fells?

I found farming Drakkar Lake for Norn Points in Hard Mode is a sure way to rack up points, especially with the 4-5 bosses running around. Takes a while though per clear out. Goes well towards your *otN title though, if you vanquish it.

Personally though, books are the quickest way.

Books work by giving you faction points for turning them in. The more quests you complete with one and the more dungeons you finish, the more points. You can get 26K for a filled NM book.

You can get 1 dungeon and 1 hero's handbook, for both NM and HM, so 4 total, 2 of each. When you complete a story mission in EotN, it gets added to the book, so it's generally a good idea to start the campaign with a book (as soon as you hit Gunnar's Hold, grab em). When you finish the game, and you have the book filled, you can hand it to whichever faction you require points for. In your case, give it to Tyr the Skaald in Gunnar's Hold for Norn. Same goes for dungeons, do dungeons, it gets added into the book.

After you hit 80k points (R8) for any title though, you can no longer submit NM books, so you have to use just the HM book for that title, you can still use a NM book and do NM missions for other titles that are yet to hit R8. You also dont receive points in explorable areas if in NM, so HM becomes the way to go once you hit 80k+ points in the Norn Title.

You also get a bunch of experience from handing the book in, as well as several platinum, so it's not a bad deal to do it, that and the possibility of tomes and whatnot dropping mid-mission in HM.

NM Hero's Handbook wields 20k rep points on completion, HM gives 30k rep.

OH and you can't do a HM quest and fill both books at the same time, has to be one or the other. One tactic is to take 2 NM or 2 HM books (depends on your level at the time) by taking 1, put it in storage, then get another, and do each mission twice as you go through. Monotinous perhaps, but a decent way to hit 40/60k points in one go. That and once completed, you dont need to do all the sub-quests in EotN, just grab the quests from the Scrying Pool if need be. And if you have Ursan Blessing (naysayers look away), it may make it go quicker. But don't rely on it. Let's you skip the Bear Spirit section of Blood Washes Blood in Bjora Marches, since you can use the Ursan skill to bash the barricades near the start.

So yeah, in a nutshell, although wiki is probably more precise

Well thx but i dont think i can do the 1 that u have to the story missions for because once i got to Doomlore Shrine < i think thats where i was at ....it told me that i had an error with my graphics card on my computer so im gonna have to do the Dungeon Books, with this book i can pretty much just go empty out an Entire Dungeon and get points ? can i only do 1 dungeon book or can i get another after i finish the first ?

Ok nvm about the Dungeon books i just read up on something and i remember the place i couldnt get to because of my graphics card was the place 1 of Pyre Fierceshot's missions lead me to and the Cathedral of Flames is 1 of the dungeons i have to do to complete a dungeon book and i cant get to it so i cant really do those

So i guess i have to stick to farming creatures in NM since i cant proceed any further in Eotn im at Gunnar's Hold Anyone know how i can get to Fells or the other place someone's mention'd so i can get fast Norn points ?

if you get about 6k rep points a run with the path of revelations and the run takes about 45 min (you can correct me if you want) and max points is 50k (With HM runs)

takes you 6 hours if you go non stop i think that is pretty good if you take how long other titles take a person

Also, if you have done most of the dungeons you can turn in the dunegon books for points as well. they don't have to be complete to give points...they just give more if they are....cause there aint no way in hell i am doing a gate too far again lol (a gate tooooooooo long imo)
