If i am reading correctly, the competition goes from 5pm-8am the next day. Is there any chance the gap can be filled to give players who play from 8am-5pm a chance to participate? That'd make this a 24-hour thing... just an idea/suggestion.

Clan Dethryche [dth] and Scars Meadows(SMS) have yet to confirm they can taking part. The sooner I know if you are planning to compete the better as I can then open your slots up to others. If you don't indicate you can come, along with a proposed time by midday Friday then your places will be freed.

Thats a shame, I think a few of us were looking forward to a head to head contest with some of the other teams, but thanks for letting me know.

Out of interest, what kinda time would be deemed good for these circumstances (i.e 7 man, NM, cons)?

I have to work on Sunday, and I think maybe two others from the guild expressed an interest in participating. Organizing anything is not something we do frequently; mostly just grab and go.

Even with PvE skills we probably wouldn't be able to. We don't do Underworld all that much; I personally think the first time I cleared it (all quests) was after Nightfall had been released. Overall I've done it maybe 10 times, and only once successfully on HM. I just don't find the Underworld all that interesting so when it comes to clearing it in record time, with players talking about splitting strategies (something we've never done in PvE), running gimped bars, with only 7 players, then I don't think there would be much of a chance of doing all that well as experience is obviously lacking.

A few of us were talking about entering, frequently going AFK, disconnecting on purpose, and perhaps taking all of the quests at the first reaper for kicks. Maybe getting a time of like 3 hours. That would've been funny, making the ref wait forever for us to finish.

Thread Hijack FTL, take the guild worship and hate stuff elsewhere please. Let the times do the talking.

SMS have stated their reasons and whether people think they are dubious or not does'nt matter we need to respect that they dont wish to field a team.

Moving swiftly on, I hope the 2 weeks we gave was enough time to practise as people have telling me the competition is going to be fierce.
