At the begining i would like to apologize for my english, which isn't too good^^

So, i have a problem with running GW. Every time when i try to connect GW all i see is this window "Connecting to ArenaNet" and bar is stuck on 0%. I cannot even go to www.guildwars.com site via browser. All other online games and websites are running fine, but guildwars isn't. Rebooting connection, disabling everything in msconfig, disabling AntiVir and Firewall - this all haven't worked. Anybody got idea what can be wrong? Does AN gives IP bans instead account bans? I cannot even write to support cause i cannot access guildwars.com site -.-

EDIT. My friend just checked that account is OK (it's not banned), but i simply cannot connect it from my computer)

EDIT2: I can access websites guildwars.com and playNC via proxy, but not without it - anybody heard about IP bans given by AN? o.O

Third item down on the official Guild Wars site- "Real Money Trading and You" and the corresponding update notes detail that they are now doing proxy and IP bans when they ban RMT bots.

So the question we need an answer to is: What have you been up to? Have you brought or sold in game gold recently? If so it looks like you have lost you guild wars account...

No i haven't sold any gold - and my account is not lost. I can log in on different IP adress (in my friend's house) and everything is OK with account - no ban, no password change (so not stolen acc). And i'm saying that i can't even connecto to client - i only see this window connecting to AN - this which usually check for updates and download them.

Hi,

This has happen to me not so long ago. GuildWars wold get stuck at the 0% in my main computer but, worked fine in my other computers connect to the same home network. If I left guild wars in the 0% for several minutes (15-20 minutes) it eventually connect and worked fine.
This haven't happen for me any more but, I still get booted from crowded towns and I am unable to participate in any events since January this year because of that .

Have fun,
