Dutch District

Hey,
I recognized that there are many many many dutch players in guildwars.
I was thinking about a Dutch district It would be very usefull for recruiting for dutch guild because you see many dutch people recruiting in english districts

english is a world language
i myself am Belgian and speak Dutch as a native language but i'm used to the fact that i gotta spend all my time in english district

There's too many empty districts already.

Even many of English/American outposts are empty. Say "Hello!" in Maguuma jungle, or post Cavalon/HZH, and all you get is plenty of echos.

I agree, some towns are more empty then you'd think they should, especially The Henge of Denravi, but that town wouldnt be empty lest for the Sanctum Cay run. As for the Amnoon Oasis, HzH and Cavalon, guess ppl just go hang out in towns where they can make the most profit, KC and LA are always full these days...

I can't see this happening, personally. I don't see why Anet would use extra server space for something that only 5,000 ppl max are going to use, when American and Euro dists have about 1 mil each.

In that case, give us Canadian districts and allow us (Canadians) to set our accounts as Canadian for purposes such as guild location, HA teams, etc.

a MMO is about interacting with a vast number of people.
I dont quite understand why do people WANT to miss out on opportunities to interact with cultures different to their country's.
To be secluded and isolated with so many people right in front of their noses.

You must understand that a large percent of the Guru population prefer to play with only their friends and guild members, hence we post such ideas. We don't WANT traditional MMO style.

Im saying that its apsurd to be separatistic in conditions such as in MMOs, where there is no threat to approve of the separatism. You also must understand that while you dont persue interaction with other cultures, someone else, like me, persues interaction with your culture.
Its not just about yourself.

Correct me if I'm wrong, and I'm pretty sure I am, but isn't there a Dutch District already in place in like Foreign or something where you can go to a German District or something?

I say they should merge all districts into just a single Universal District lol

This game is not an MMO. It is an instanced multiplayer game.

its online, multiplayer, and at 5 mil. copies sold, its massive. its a MMO weather you want it or not. :P

5 million copies of the various campaigns sold is not 5 million active players, weather you want it or not.

Consider the massive quantities of bots. Consider the people who no longer play. Consider the people who barely ever play.

Already that's cut down the numbers. Now remove all the retarded scrubs and you're left with only a few thousand players who are actually worth the time to hang out with.

WoW servers only hold a few thousand people at a time, but WoW is still considered an MMO.

then so is GW. :P

I'm dutch, but I'd hate the idea of ANOTHER separated district, we have more then enough already.
