Ok this is my first build and guide, so please don't be too harsh. This build is able to solo the Ice Wastes, Chaos Plains, Bone Pits, and Spawning Pools. I'm sure someone else has thought of and probably done this, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I'm writing this assuming everyone has a basic knowledge of UW layout and monsters.

Usage:
This build is very similar to the Ele/Mo Savannah Heat Smite build. If you are comfortable with it, this build will work easily for you.
The Labryinth:
Precast BS on yourself and take quest. Cast FDH, SA, and GoC then aggro group of Graspings Darknesses. Run towards the middle to lose Aatxes. Start casting MS before Darknesses get to you. As soon as MS is cast use BoC, wait 2-3 seconds then use FDH. Repeat with other 2 groups.
Now, you have a decision to make. You must decide whether to go to the Ice Wastes or the Chaos Plains. To get to Ice Wastes use the common route to the right. For the Plains take the left path. For both runs take off BS and equip your melee weapon. This hint is courtesy of Cerb.
Ice Wastes:
Once again this build is very similar to the Savannah Heat build, expect you use OF instead of Armor of Earth. For smites, you can pull any amount you want, but be careful of nightmare popups. Once smites are balled up around you, hit MS, BoC, wait 2-3 seconds then FDH. This should kill all smites, but if any are left alive use FDH to kill them. This build can easily handle Coldfires, but its slow and tedious, and they don't drop ectos.
Once you're done here you can go on the Chaos Plains. Follow the route you took earlier to return to your spawning point. Take the left path. As soon as you lose aggro from Aatxes, there should be a stairway on your right. There will be an aaxte near this, but if you go in far enough you should be fine. While on this stairway, a group of Graspings will go past you. Wait for them to move then run to the right. There will be a pair of aatxes on your left, but you can easily lose them. There will be another group of graspings patrolling aroung the hole in the center of this area. Once a way is clear for you to go run past the aatxes you alrdy lost, and you will find a little nook on your left. This is your safe place for the moment. A pair of Charged Blacknesses will come down towards the first group of Obsidian Behemoths. They will retreat back up the mountain, but still remain inside the safe nook. Shortly after a pair of aatxes will run by you towards the left, once they cross you are clear to head on past the behemoths. Put on FDH and SA and run past the first group of Behemoths. If you have a bad spawn and you can't make it past the behemoths without setting off traps, your run is over(sorry). Follow the path up to a split in the road. Take the right side and after you pass a group of behemoths you should be on an incline looking at another split in the trail. Take the right path and hurry on to the Chaos Plains.
Chaos Plains:
Re-equip your staff. Cast BS on yourself and wait for energy to recharge. There will be a Banished Dream Rider(BDR) in front of you. Use GoS, then OF and SA. These 2 skills must be kept up at all times. Always use GoS before OF. If you don't your run will be cut short. Get into melee range with the BDR. You can either kill him using only wand attacks and FDH or you can use the whole damage chain. I usually save the damage chain for the mindblades that pop up. After killing the BDR, groups of mindblades will spawn. Once again maintain GoS, OF, and SA. Pull the mindblades so that their left side is on an obstacle of some kind. Use the damage chain to kill them, but don't wait to use FDH this time. 3 spawns will come from each BDR. Use the same method to defeat all of them. For groups that contain a Wailing Lord, bring the Lord beside one of the BDRs that is with him and use the damage chain. This should kill them.

I'm going to use Cerb's wonderful map to illustrate enemy locations. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...anesmapyt4.jpg
After clearing out the Chaos Plains you can move on to the Spawning Pools or the Bone Pits. I recommend the Bone Pits because the Spawning Pools are the hardest area.
Bone Pits:
Use pretty much the same tactis as the Chaos Plains. Keep OF and SA on at all times. Group up the Dead Collectors around the Dead Threshers. Use damage chain to kill. Pretty simple really.

Spawning Pools:
Definitely the hardest part of the farm. Use same tactics(keep up OF and SA) and use damage chain to kill. The Terrorweb Dryders go down easy if you ball them up. The Charged Blacknesses can give you some trouble if you don't pay careful attention. Their Shock skill can mess you up pretty badly. Fortunately OF keeps off their other skills so Shock is the only thing you have to worry about. Time it so that you can get off MS in between KDs. Once again, use the damage chain to kill.

Well, that's all of it for the moment folks. It's uncommon for me to get fewer than 8-10 ectos on a single run, the most being 16. Once you get good at it and know routes and locations the total time can be under 2 hours. I hope to increase the speed and effectiveness of the build. If you have any questions or comments please let me know. Thanks for reading this whole thing and hope you get alot of ectos.
