Balth Faction title

I've earned 2 mil balth faction on my account, free title please <3. I have mixed thoughts on this, that's its just a title, the people that will really discriminate you shouldn't be playing with anyway. No one ever said you have to play with elitist. Also for the people saying that titles (like this one) don't indicate a good player, well then there you go, they don't, it's up to an individual to judge another. It's like as "I pwnd U" said,"it's a correlation between time spent playing pvp and balth faction they accumulated and spent".

Yes you can inded get Balthazar factions trough leeching AB and botting RA but in the long run you will get banned and all those factions you have earned will be gone.
As far as I know factions from Zaishen Elite caps at 6000 per a day, which means that if one wishes to gain 1,000,000 Factions from it he would have to farm it for 166 days, and A-Net gave us titles for a lot smaller accomplishments.

Ever heard of KoABD?

Anyone else realize that you could get KOABD off of PvP titles? Granted that probably would be the best PvP player in the game to get max hero, max glad, max champ, max lux/kurz, and max commander. Still it is possible though.

What? Like PvE doesn't have titles? I'm pretty sure PvE has more titles than PvP, so maybe stop being an elitist or GTFO.

As far as I know, no one has max hero, champ, or commander, and the closest people in each are near nowhere in another, so, technically, it wouldn't be possible for about another year or so, at least. The person closest to max commander has been at it over a year, max hero, since GW release, max champion, about 2 years. So, you would have to have played at least 6 years or so to accumulate everything. To say that this is possible is pretty far fetched.

due to the 2 years when you couldn't earn balth faction at all once you'd uax'd

there are no max titles in pvp as far as I know, they continue going, unless at some point anet announced that possibly level 15 would be the cap? But since no one has got there yet, we don't know.

And not to mention, maxing out a pvp title is a far cry more difficult than obtaining max grind in any of the pve titles. For example, going for protector or guardian would maybe take you a week or two depending on how hardcore you are. But a week or 2 in TA or RA would only maybe get you 1 or 2 ranks in that title and then it becomes that much more difficult as the levels advance.

Or champ rank? About a year and a half ago I had 30 champ points, I quit guild wars for about 8 months, since coming back I've gotten 2 points because it's difficult at this point if you aren't already in one of the established top 100 guilds and when I left for so long I closed off a lot of my options.

those titles are far more difficult to get. If there is no balth faction title, then I recommend maybe making every 3 or 4 ranks of a pvp title (depending on the level of difficulty to obtain it) = to 1 point towards your kind of a big deal title. I feel that would be very fair.

the only way i would acualy like this is if they take into account the past bath used.

I think it is a bad idea because people who have been doing nothing except pvp since the day it came out will have like 423,243,866,463,173,680 faction and will have a super max title

Wow, I didn't even think about this. This could turn into a "WTB Title" thing. Flames would definitely have to be reworked for this to work.

While I lost *millions* of faction on not being able to spend it on anything before the update that made the faction total increase even if unspent I still think such a title would be awesome.

This title is completely different than a PvE title that would be based on total experience gained by a character. Completely different.
You can't farm obscenely huge amounts of faction by repeatedly grinding something easy over and over.

Buying a lot of Flames won't get you anywhere - Flames are rare, very limited, 1k flames are as rare as Sigils, Golden Flames (3k) cost 15 Reward Points, it's much easier to gain the faction by playing than getting those - easier to get +3k faction by just winning 1 GvG than getting 15rps, which are also very limited.

You have to be highly competetive and win a lot. Otherwise your faction gain will be significantly worse than the competetive players'.

This is not about PvE.
PvE only players should not reply in this thread as they often are completely clueless and this whole thing doesn't affect their game at all.

This title should have reasonable tiers of varying levels, and no max. Example:

Rank 1. = 100k faction
Rank 2. = 250k faction
Rank 3. = 500k faction
Rank 4. = 1M faction
Rank 5. = 1.5M faction
Rank 6. = 2M faction
Rank 7. = 3M faction
Rank 8. = 4M faction
Rank 9. = 6M faction
Rank 10. = 8M faction
Rank 11. = 10M faction (very few people got more than 10M)
Rank 12. = 15M faction
Rank 13. = 20M faction
Rank 14. = 30M faction (I don't think anybody has more than that at the moment)
Rank 15. = 50M faction
Rank 16. = 100M faction (nobody will ever get that much, even in 10 years)
Rank 17. = 200M faction
...
No Max.

I could honestly care less if they added it or not. It really isn't going to effect anything other than giving somebody another title to display when waiting for a match.

But the effort is FOCUSED on faction.

By the 6 ways im assuming your talking about:

AB
FA
JQ
FFF
Killing in the luxon/kurz areas
Questing

1stly, AB, FA & JQ area all basically the same. Different aims, but end result its a baby pvp for faction
FFF is EFFORT because u have to sit there for hours on end.
Killing same thing
Questing - takes time and cant get a decent rank unless your prepared to take a new char through then buy a new slot/delete ur char.

As with most titles there are different ways to gain them, however this doesnt mean that there should be a generic pvp title, especially when its something you "naturally" gain from doing other forms of pvp ALL of which have their own title scheme to show success.

If you read my post before replying is mentioned koabd. I said that whilst this may be considered a generic im good title, it could also be classified as a "im good at titles" title. Also, akoabd requires you to FOCUS your efforts into maxing x title, then y title etc until you get enough. The way this title has been advertised is as a title to show your experience in pvp, when you're lacking in enough of 1 title to gain that title.

As the OP stated, he was sick of people with glad title, hero title etc not being experienced. This title in NO WAY changes the probability of getting people with little experience for the same reason as those ppl with glad etc have little experience.

My argument has been that
a) This title wont change that

b) This title has no point.

Be a bit more up for this if it has always maintained your total faction - but pre NF when PVP was actually ok it didn't keep track of your total faction...

I guess there would be no harm in it... I mean it's just a title...
