Sneaky but not a scamm

All I have to say is lol. That is sneaky.

I have found a few max damage bows that looked too good to be true, and noticed the 14-28 on them. I check the damage now whenever I buy weapons.

Caveat Emptor.
Let the buyer beware.

I bought a req8 +15% (ench) Hammer on this Forum once and realized later that it was 18-35. But well....it was only 2k, I think.

it still can achieve max damage. just on occasion it can go 1 point less damage than a max weapon. honestly, when was the last time your enemy was at 1 hp? would that frustrate you, or make you laugh? a 14-28 isn't bad by any means.

Agreed. That is not a scam. And even if it was, you could not report him for that, and A.net won't ban him for it.
You agreed to pay the price and saw the item with your own eyes.

So what? Are you going to use it or brag about it? How much different is 14 than 15... pffffffft... and how often is it going to go down to 14?

I agree with lakatz, the fact that it is 14-28 doesn't make much of a difference imo. You should have plenty in marks so it shouldn't matter.

Trade window tells you exactly what you're getting and he never said it was max (when I see people advertising they say so). And really it's only one point. If you're overlooking it then I doubt you really care that much.

Still people will pay way more for perfect stuff haha.

Because technically that bow can do max damage; only it doesn't have the max mean damage.

Yeah once happened me with axe Bought chaos axe But yeah i just was so happy about it so accepted without checking dmg :F

I'm going to remember that next time I sell weapons.

As for buying weapons, I don't. I use BMP weapons, which have better skins than weapons in the rest of the game. Particularly Tengu weapons.
