As the topic states, Does Guild Wars Hate You?

It hates me by a long shot.
Never got a black dye.
Never got an ecto.
Lots of times i get purple from locked chests.
I've only gotten 1 green.

What about ya'll?

kill lots of enemies rly fast over and over again for black dyes. even low lvl ones

when i farm there i get tons of golds, black and white dyes, lockpicks and destroyer cores that sell pretty easy for 400gp

um, you haven't gotten to FoW, Underworld, or Sorrow's Furnace have you?

I don't complain about what I don't have, because I realize that most of it is because I'm not a hardcore player.

Two days in a row we have had someone DC loading into Match 15 in TA, bye bye 6 glad points.

I really hope though that it is someone else on my team it hates.

Worst luck is with mini pets. Have about 15 as b'day presents and only one purple. The rest are white. Meh .... got my moa chick. "D

No, I don't sense any a hate from GW. Maybe some tough love on occasion, which is fine. I shouldn't always get my way.

Sounds like you hate GW instead of the other way around.

Farm more! Or do something useful like GvG

sooo.... my opinion is Anet doesn't hate me, and doesn't like me either - they don't know me

I do get dye drops, ectos, golds, greens, lockpicks

However when playing with my family I seem to be the least lucky of the bunch of us.

Get Ursan Blessing, sit in Temples of Ages spamming "ursan lfg UW clear" and you'll have ectos in no time....

no black dye
less ecto drops (thx to the 50/50 or i'll be getting nothing)
less titan gem drop
non of the elite weapon
2 mil on zaishen keys and nothing
66% retain lock and broke 5 out of 6

heh, I dont think gw hates me, but I know many days where I think it has it out for me. Silly lockpick breaking nonsense. That has to be the worst feeling, you have spent all this time getting your titles up so your retain rate is better, you get to a nice area with a Locked Chest, you break your pick and open a q13 grappy mesmer something with deathbane mods. I think that is the point where you just want to break someone/something in half, especially when your buddy next to you pulls out his Sundering Sweetdrop of Fortitude q9

They hate my lockpicks for sure. Drops are just a matter of knowing what/when.

Same here! Played since day one, have all three campaigns + EotN and yet not a single ecto has ever dropped for any of my 11 characters during their numerous visits to the Underworld and the like.

Somedays are good, some days are bad...

For example, I don't farm, but I have a fairly large amount of greens (dropped ones as well). A chunk of golds that are useable (and are rare), plus enough cash to keep me afloat until the day I randomly get 15k knights for my not-much-used warrior. That was a lot of money gone lol.

Better yet, locked chests: I have a MINIMAL retain %, but last weekend (still going through GWEN, been a busy life lately), I only needed two for every chest I came across. About 12 chests, 8 golds, and only needed 2 lockpicks . The weekend before? I stopped buying lockpicks lol.
