Mini Value drop?

From observing in Kamadan, i noticed everyone is trying to get rid of their Asian/Rare mini's. Ghostly's, zheds, shirokens, nagas, onis, and yeti's. All are being sold for "Below average" pricing, and i havnt the slightest idea why everyone is getting rid of them... Is there some kind of new dupe / bug or somthing, or is it just by coincidence? With everyone competing to sell their mini's, it will (more than it already has) drive the value into the ground.
Mini's that normally go for 100k 250e , are going for like 190e (no 100k) now.

Am i missing some like crucial update, do they drop from Z-chest or somthing?!?

I noticed this yesterday i saw some minipets going for like 20k below the regular price maybe there was a big value drop?

maybe people are just looking to recuop what they lost in tickets over the weekend. A full weekend of 9 rings is expensive.

a full weekend in 9 rings did cost me about 200k i think..
doubt that its something to do with that, what i think.

Weird huh? lol i bought a mini grawl for 100k + 5e going, wow lol what a bargain...sold for 100k+10e with 2 days of spammin...i honestly have no idea why...

Maybe people are finally realizing how worthless and stupid minipets really are?

Took em long enough. Minipets are the metagame.

mini mania give away thing, there are more asian minipets out there so they are cheaper.

I think the new celestial minis and the ensuing craze they caused did it. During the new year event minipigs went from barely being worth 1 or 2 platinum to worth 20 or 30k instead. At the end of the weekend I found somebody who sold me 6 common B-day minis for 8k and a dedicated Koss and dedicated Varesh for 3K a piece.

So yeah, whatever the reason the bottom fell right out of that market. (which is kinda cool for me, I got to buy a bunch of mini's for a reasonable price instead of every last bit of gold I had, but I know it's a bummer for others)

Yes and No.

During First month, value stayed about the same as before.

By 2nd month, value of Yet / naga went for about 100k 50e, oni's a bit more.

By 3rd (last month), even though More mini's, the value sky rocketed to 3x the 2nd month. Yeti's / Nagas gonig for about 100k 150e aprox (more or less).

Up until Canthan newyears (or whatever the pastevent was) , they were at 4x to 5x the vaule of 2nd month. Nagas could fetch up to about 100k 250e ingame (not that high on guru), and Oni up to 100k 270e ish (not sure if they got that high on guru. but there were some buyers ingame). Atleast around 100k 200e each (although most went for more).

Now the values have declined a good 200k or so. Yeti are back down to like 100k 140e* (edit), and Nagas about 100k 170e ish.


I'm sure this is only temporary, and when there are fewer people selling at one time, the value will go back up... But this is still a very disturbing time for those of us that currently own (and paid quite a bit) for our rarer miniatures.

Prices fluctuate based on how many there are and how badly people want them.
It happens with every item.

Well if they didn't dedicate them, then they must have just got bored with them and got their ego satisfied with having them for a month.

still , what i dont get is why now? What motivated them to all want to sell at this particular moment, and not in a month? not in 3 months? not in a year?

Maybe they saw someone else selling for really low, didnt realise that pets werent selling that low, and thought that they better get as much gold as possible out of it before the price drops even further.

lol, well it is possible that some nooby who won a mini in a Contest was looking at Old guru threads ,and figured their value to be that low? And there was this whole Snow-Ball effect -_- ....

Looking back, and finding that the whole mini economy died because of some guy who didnt know propper prices of minis >_< lol

I think there is a dupe going on, saw someone offering an armbrace for 100+20 yesterday when they have held steady at 100+33 or so for quite a while. JMHO tho.

well for the past month (play more..) armbraces have dropped to ~100+20

I paid 227e for my mini Naga not even a week back. Price was skyrocketting, I wasn't able to keep up for a while to catch it cheaper than that (even my buyer bought for 220e or so, but he was nice and let me buy it for a bit cheaper than expected). So... now they're going down? Just my luck x]. At least I'm happy with it lol.

The price isn't the result of a dupe, it's because a lot of people farm gems/armbraces ATM.

Nah, it's just that European countries had some contests.

Some of them, like in the Spanish one they where bugged. Some people getting 3..5 miniatures of the same type after sending one single SMS and others getting nne after 10 and things like that.

Now they are getting rid of the surplus miniatures.

yeah but don't forget this is just coming off of a huge price increase. Just a couple months ago Onis were going for only 100k +90 ectos, Yetis were only 100k +60 ectos, and Nagas were down to 100k +40 ectos. I thought the minipet prize givaway would lower the prices but all it did is raise it...somehow. I don't get it.
