Black Dye Drops

The ones I remember in some detail:

Wizard's Folly - Ice Elemental (2 occasions)

N. Kryta Province - Tengu or Imp (don't recall)

Ice Cliff Chasms - Snow Wurm

i get a few from destroyer core farming... and sometimes off level 3/4 grawl between easten frontier and ruins of surmia...

1st devourer in the Great Northern Wall mission
Dredge right outside of House Zu Heltzer
Shadow Warrior in FoW

I get alot of dye drops in any area i play on my mesmer. She rarely gets rares/materials but always seems to get dye. My best yet was 5 whites and 3 black dyes in one day. Working on bonus' in tyria around maguuma, ascalon and kryta i think.

I also seem to get alot more black and white dyes than i do red, red are the rarest dye in my case.

gotten over 15 from the Hardmode Margonite farm.

I'm sad it was nerfed it dropped blacks like crazy.

While clearing FoW I got 2 black dye drops in the same run, though I forgot what dropped them.

i sold a bunch at 27k just before the trader price reset but recently i have gotten them in NM low level.

2 new presear each got blacks from scale tads {looking for fins for beltpouch}

Got one off a whiptail devourer in Eastern Frontier the other day NM. Quite surprised since I was just there for mapping.

I've gotten a black dye from pretty much everything in the game except the Doppleganger, Abaddon and Shiro.

i honestly get a crap load of them. i've bought maybe 6 ever, and i have well over 50+ armors all dyed black (i know, im so original... no.. i just really like black).

i've had two drop almost back to back, as in within seconds of each other while farming d cores.

only 2 ever. one from a grawl longspear in pre searing, and another from a hulking stone elemental post searing. both on same character.

I've only ever gotten one black dye to drop for me. Way too long ago to remember. Somewhere early on in Prophecies.

3 from luxon fff and 2 from d cores I think....

non dropped for me, in 2 and half years

got one from a crawl in ascalon area
and a skeleton form the catacombs in pre
