Trolls

I've took a break from guild wars for about 2 years and I decided to come back. My usually farming spot was the cave with a bunch of trolls near droknar's forge. So i'm wondering if that farming spot still works.

Look at the list of farming builds, seriously... this is the second time in an hour.

No. That cave is only good for Power lvling now. I did the same thing when I came back after a 1 1/2 year break.

You're waaaayyyy out of date. The troll cave got nerfed to hell when Hard Mode was introduced. If you have GW:EN and Factions, consider going with a [skill=text]Vengeful Was Khanhei[/skill] W/Rt and farming the Raptor Nestlings outside Rata Sum. Many gold items drop (quite a few with max mods / inscriptions) along with lockpics and some reasonable merch food.

Alternately, repeatedly farm the Kilroy Stonekin Punch-Out Tournament in GW:EN for chest drops and golds. It's also a much better XP farm than the troll cave.

Farming ectos in the UW is still a viable farm if you're after a higher return on investment.

yeah they totally took out the good drops from that area sad i loved that area too but alot of different areas to go
