ok so Gaile Gray has stated she has heard of relationships starting and people getting married from meeting on guild wars
its time now to see how many have had relationships end because of it
so if you have had a relationship end because of guild wars please say so I like to get a good poll started so don’t lie no need for it
me myself I have a girlfriend one end for many reasons but one was becuz I played guild wars
now I have a new relationship at first she hate the game , but then she gave it a chance and liked it now she likes it, after about of year fighting over the computer for who is going to be playing that night, we bought her own computer and now there is no issues!!!
now she has her own account with every game she rank 3 fame , and plays with me all the time.

I think it's commonplace people meet and fall in love in online games nowdays. I've never heard of it ruining anyones relationships tho, ofc possible. :P
I guess I have made some new friends but not really irl because the ones I know irl already played the game when I started.
Grats on the baby! Tho it has been a while already.

Me and my girlfriend play GW and run a active guild together.
A couple of members though have had their relationships ended, but iI'm not quite sure if it's due to video games (I thinks it's unfair to point out Guild Wars directly) or other reasons.
I know of at least 3 couples that have separated where the guy is a member of the guild. Sad to hear, but it does not matter if he is in to video games or collecting stamps. If she can't support his hobbies/he can't controll them, then it was probably never meant to be anyway...

Well, personally, I never put GW (or any other game) above the people close to me. I have, however, put it above some acquaintances, so I may have lost one or two of those by playing, well, any game. Can't really remember GW being directly tied to any of those, though.
But no, close friends, family, and loved ones? No. Never.
