Look, being as you're 11 years old I seriously doubt anything I write here will make any sense to you so maybe you should ask your mother whether you should be using the word 'Jap'.

And while you're at it, ask her to buy you a dictionary.

See, that would work if that was actually his situation. I'm guessing he's just an American that wants a Japanese character in his name because of the mystical aspect Asian characters have to us westerners.

At any rate, using racial slurs is a perfect way to not only get your request denied but make yourself look bigoted and retarded at the same time.

personally I think that the Chinese characters are better than the Japanese kanji (which were originally Chinese characters) there are more Chinese ones than Japanese ones (and I actually studied Japanese so I know what some of them mean as well).
However, the OP has no reason to use foreign characters in his name, just go out an buy a Japanese copy of the game and you will get the kanji and kana----but then you would also need to have the ability to type them on your computer.

valid suggestion.
I might remake it if this gets locked.

I reckon it might be cool to have Chinese/Japanese/Taiwanese characters in my name. It's similar to the people who pay to have guilds made for them with the asian character tags.

EDIT: they're also not "american characters". They're from the English language, not the American language.

@OP: Grow up, learn to spell and come back in a few years.

Anyways, bad suggestion. We already have enough stupid (X word X) names without this.

Well, I as a Chinese player think we Asian should be able to hold the right of using our own characters. I think that's kind of ridiculous that some western guild having some Asian Character Tag. Some of them may have their meanings. Some may just think those characters look cool. I have been asked several times to open a Chinese tag guild. Some of those people say they just want a Chinese "Symbol" tag, despite their meanings. I think those ppl are a little bit silly. I don't want to see everyone running around with meaningless asian name.

I also think we should have a little bit "advantage" coz of our small population in GW.

I don't think the spelling is nearly as atrocious as the use of, or misuse, in this case, of grammar and punctuation.

Them dang japs letters with all them, squiggly lines an d stuf. Shore do look, good on a compter tho,.

Well... since people emigrate, and there could be Japanese in other countries, it makes sense, but... have you tried installing the IME, putting the game in Japanese and trying to input a name?

It should allow you that way. If not then it could be chnaged.

Why do people even want these characters? They wont understand what they mean (Most of us anyways) and they'll just go into HA, "********* lfg, HAS AZN CHARZ IN NAMEE!?!>!"

No way what if we forget to add someone to friends list and then realise they had a Asian name how are you meant to spell it??

And if this did come in power which i very much doubt it will why should it be just Americans there is a whole continent called Europe try finding it on a map its really not hard.

And its the English launguage not American. Think you really need to start going to school more.

The idea of typing in random symbols, of which you have no idea of their meaning, is rather stupid.

Urgh. There's a very logical explanation. I don't even wanna try whispering someone called xxX ナルト忍者 Xxx. Not that I would get aqquinted with someone called...that.
