Game graphics are fine, sound lags and reverberates terribly. Would adding 512 ram help?
My rig is as follows:

Systemax™ Venture B524 Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 3.06GHz HT / Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional / 512MB DDR / 80GB HDD / DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo / Gigabit LAN / Desktop PC

PowerColor Radeon 9550 / 256MB DDR / AGP 8X / VGA / DVI / TV Out / Video Card

Game graphics are fine, sound lags and reverberates terribly. Would adding 512 ram help?

Thanks for your consideration

I'm not convinced that the ram is why your sound is messing up. The first thing I would do is make sure you have the latest and greatest sound and video card drivers.

Having said that, 1gb is the bare minimum I would suggest for XP & gaming, 2gb seems to be the sweet spot, more is overkill unless you do video editing. For Vista, double the above ram suggestions.

Try turning off the hardware 3D sound in the game, it's very buggy on a lot of integrated sound chips.
