the most overrated skin/title/armor/accomplishment

Anet meant for obby armor to be really prestigous... And that's why people where it. Not because it looks good, but because of Anet deemed it was the epitome of elite.

All pvp titles except champion, cuz all others can be farmed off nubs.

I agree that most people just where crap to show that they bought expensive stuff. Another example is stuff dyed black..because it's dyed black it makes you "1337" ? WRONG.

IMo the most annoying for me is Mask of Mo Zing..(black ofc) Ranger FoW (males mostly) dyed..omg black again? -.- And Destroyer or Dragon gauntlets.

Another one that annoys me personally is tiny monks..in tattoo's..and dragon gauntlets...you look like hobo's wearing oven mitts. GG.

I know a couple people who bought it because it's like the only Female Elementist armor that doesent look slut-ish.

I hate practically all of the EoTN gloves, Ninja Masks, and a whole lot of other stuff from EoTN. Sure, some of them look good in mixes, but basically all of them look incredibly retarded.

Most of the cliched choices make me tut, but sometimes you can't help but REALLY like something that every hyperactive teenager wants. Sooooo many rangers got norn armour the second it was released, I didn't want to go with that flow but.... I adore the skin. Same with crystalline swords- they genuinely look lovely on my particular warrior. I guess so long as I don't combine my guilty loves with other cliched items I'll be alright. Seeing as I play 2man + heroes a lot of the time there's only me and he who get to see them.

The only thing I've come close to getting 'just because' is necro FoW- it's totally fugly but I felt that I 'should' get it for my primary character because it's one of the harder things to work for. Thankfully talked myself back from that one, and decided a selection of 15k sets would make us happier. So I can see why people do buy these things.

Titles are all pretty over-rated, they're just there for your own joy I imo.

Well I think anyone that has a Rank 6 max titles simply shows they have thrown a large portion of their life away since it requires no skill just grinding ability and a sad amount of time.

And Legendary Survivor is overrated, as most of those farmed that in 10-20 hours. (I respect those who got that a while ago, or now by normal methods like missions, skill capping etc)

Most fugly ass skin I have ever seen in game EVER.... this is like 10 times worse then a crystalline.

Its pretty funny to read the bs about fow armor in this game lol.... YOU MUST HAVE EBAYED IT! CAUSE OMG I CANT GET ANY MONEY! Most people wear armor because THEY like it, not you. Bitch and whine all you want but I seriously doubt everyone with fow is saying "I R Teh Bests!"

I just like the fit of FoW on my warrior. I hate how in nearly all of the newer armors how the hands on them are huge. FoW looks nice and comfy, and I love the shoulder area.

Elite Kurzick Armor > Obsidian Armor any day of the week imho.

Crystallines are okay. Not awful, but not nearly worth the cost.

I got dwarven armor for my female ranger. Looks great, really: the long coat, the boots, the pants. Seriously, good-looking combo. I was wearing it with my old 1.5k Canthan gloves, and...not bad. Not awesome, but not bad.
I used all the resources...Looked at the wiki pictures, looked at other people's gloves....spent some money on the damn deldrimor steel ingots...

and bought the ugliest damn gloves in the game. They're oversized, and my ranger's on the tall side. In game, in action, it just looks like I'm wearing steel blob-shaped mittens. Poor Beatrice: "Oh, it's so cold here in the Far Shiverpeaks; let me put on my mittens!"

i hardly like any of the high end weapons/armour (not that i can afford any of them...)
i especially think there is a lack of cool looking warrior armours. they're all huge, chunky and unrealistic

Dragon Gaunts = key to insta ugly armor combo, no matter how you look at it.
Corpse-/rank'ers = sad (*cough* Ritspike/IWAY*cough*)
Stereotypical ugly BlackdyedFoW/MoZing/Chaosgloves-characters = fail
Storm Bow = Battery Powered Plastic Thingy... xD It makes me sick :|

Title = Survivor, people go to annoying lengths (such as Quitting teams or not doing anything) to get a title that most people will think you either did them annoying things, or got power leveled in order to obtain.

Armor = Female Mesmer FoW, God this is just a hideous armor, there are 1K armors for females Mesmers that top this anyday. The fact that people make a Mesmer, who have such lovely armors, buy this piece o' shit makes me vomit with rage. Funny how anyone, at all, ever, ever, could consider this armor good with some, without some kind of Taste defect. In all, this armor is utter tripe in my eyes, I'd rather have my Mesmer wear a binliner.

Other - Black dye, there is an entire Rainbow of beauty, and greatness, and people actually WANT, to look as if they are wearring a black holes by using new black. Old Black was nice, but still overused. But New Black, is complete shit.
