This has something to do with warriors, I swear. Just hear me out guru.

I was playing Fort Aspenwood today, was bored, wanted something fun to do(I consider it fun) and I came across a bonding monk using Erruption. I died because of the gate eles, and she called me a noob, and has been bugging me for the past 20 some minutes about how warriors suck, they do 50dmg in pvp then die, they need healers to do anything half decent, and the only good skill combo is Quivvering blade and For Great Justice.

~Removed name of idiot player~. Apperntly,according to them, everyone but warriors agree that warriors suck, so please, please educate this nub before I go nuts.

I straight up own people on my hammer warrior, i'm mostly doing over 100dmg. I've killed many people in 3-4 skill hits. Thats why I like playing my warrior, because I can do some crazy high dmg. Call her a noob for using eruption.

And don't feel bad, those eles are hard to get past sometimes.

Or if you need the lulz, ask him to press 'B' and observe the top-100 GvGs. Because, you know... warriors decidedly don't kill shit at the highest levels of play, m i rite?
Ask him, even, to go to the Team Quitter forums or somewhere else where pros hang out (Glad's Arena here?), and start a thread saying 'Warriors suck'. Watch it get torn apart/closed

Personally though, I'd just lol and move on. People who think warriors suck are bad at GW and not worth bothering with.

Actually, I've found PvPers to be the most annoying, Alex. But meh, she was indeed a 'clueless retard scrub'. I don't think it's fair to say that any profession in the game is useless. If people play and enjoy them; they are not useless. Plain. And. Simple. You can't argue with that when you consider that the primary purpose of this game is to entertain.

And in any case, there is a reason that warriors are sought after... They're good... >< Some people just don't like to see the obvious because it doesn't make them 'smart'. (In their case: 'stupid'.)

I don't think it's allowed to post names, besides, it's not like clueless people like that are worth even a splitsecond of my time. I'd rather be having a conversation with a brick wall.

Ignore it. Shit happens a lot in the more pve/scrub-friendly arenas like RA/AB/FA.





etc etc... I eventually get hit with every time I visit one of those arenas.

I only use hammers in low-end pvp. As good as sword/axes can be, I just don't find them useful there...havent used one in ages in that kinda pvp. KD = interrupt, snare, defense, much easier to solo monks....too good to pass up.

As for aspenwood, i dont like playing melee on the lux side - lot's of antimelee will slow you down alot. From my experience, melee-heavy lux teams lose more often.

Well, to an extent it is true. Most warriors in AB/RA/FA spec more into defense (9 in weapon mastery since everything over req 9 apparently blows) than offense while an autoattacking warrior at wm 14 is way deadlier. It's natural that people in those areas get the impression the class fails in damage. However for some it's also natural to be dumb (which we have to expect/respect) and for some it's natural to need evidence to wake up out of their stupidity, so in that case I wish him 20 000 frenzied dev hammer combos in a row without him ever getting up, with no chance of being able to log out/off.

Ok, I'm not a PvPer, and I'm told Warriors work well in PvP, I don't know, and don't care. But I can say that I think Warriors are ment to take high damage and deal a decently high amount of damage, in other words, they try to take the damage while Ele's, Necro's, etc deal nicely high damage. That is from a PvEer's perspective so I doupt that is the case for PvP. In the few PvP battles I have been in, I will say that warriors either suck big time, or pwn because they won't die.

I played a game of AB onthe weekend and the Kurzicks showed up with 9 wars and 3 monks...they owned us so bad it was really painfull.

But basically, Warriors deal a very decent amount of damage. More than an Ele. Quite possibly more than a Necro. And in PvP, Warriors who know how to do their thing won't suck big time, but if you're with a semi-decent team they shouldn't really "pwn because they won't die"...unless they're griefing.

In FA Luxon-side, the best thing you can do is pack a Mesmer or Necro that can cut down enchant stacks and/or make monks behind the gate explode so the turtlecannon and its goon squad can beat everything up.

If you really want to see what a Warrior can do in PvP, just play somewhere else.
