This is not ment to be a prmay damage dealer, only a support damage dealer that helps by adding knockdowns as well as (virtually) armor ignoring holy damage.

Why when you can deal much more damage on other characters? I wouldn't take you in my team as a damage dealer, your skills have too long of a recharge, and even though it is holy damage other things deal more damage even after armor. I know you said you aren't a primary damage dealer, but I wouldn't take someone who can only do damage when the damage they deal is weak.
Got a back up Smite Support build that I was working on as well.

????? uhhhh ok..... I don't have a clue what the goal of this build is for IMO I don't think this is a good build... sorry.
BUT If I had to make a constructive opinion I think you might want to put some more points into Divine favor so those skills got a little healing kick to it since all but one are to be cast on allies
Edit: Maybe if you had more points in Divine Favor you could replace scourge healing with either [skill]Divine Boon[/skill] or [skill]Reversal Of Fortune[/skill] so you don't have to switch between targeting enemies and allies constantly.

Run any physicals such as a para or warrior or dervish and ur set. No, it's actually over 9000x.
Some people may use mantra inscriptions instead of something like smite hex if you don't need the hex removal but would like to make signets better. But then you don't get as much out of smiter's boon, so it's a tradeoff between damage and healing.

Signet Smiters are particularly good for one thing - leading herohenchie teams to victory. Playing as a defensive, party-targeting Monk with no other human players is miserable. You have to call targets for everyone, pull, then somehow get into the back and avoid aggro while planting flags for the heroes so that they don't break aggro and kite with you. If you're going through Normal Mode and can't deal with playing Monk anymore, I'd recommend something like this:
Signet of Judgment, Bane Signet, Castigation Signet, Signet of Rage, Mantra of Inscriptions, Strength of Honor, Aegis, Divine Healing. 14 Smiting 9 Divine 9 Prot 7 Insp
It's not good. Not by a long shot. But it's fine for calling targets and leading a herohench team, and if things are going badly you simply use a whole party spell to stabilize before getting back to blasting things.
It's not good. But it's functional in a role that you're not particularly well suited.

Unfortunately not, Koss will be flexing even if you unload a full bar of smite signets onto a target who is staying near agro range and not coming closer. If you set them aggressive, then they attack..but rarely your target. In order to send your little army into battle with a specific target, your smiter needs to wand (or call). So no, even the calling doesn't justify the 30DPS (actually, it is probably less than that: ~25, since MoI is not here).

The alternative to running bad bars is to get used to playing backline in H/H teams. If I can do it, so can you!
If you actually want to run a functional smite bar, you're going to be running midline support with Smite Hex/Condition, Judge's Insight, and PvE skills like Great Dwarf Weapon or the Vanguard battle standards. Trying to run direct-damage with Signet smite is a lost cause.

Run any physicals such as a para or warrior or dervish and ur set. I agree, but this one is even better:
16 Smiting
13 DF
Castigation Signet
Signet of Judgement
Smite Condition
Smite Hex
Reversal of Damage
Smiter's Boon
Divine Boon
Divine Spirit
This one actually deals healing to the party while smiting the crap out of monsters. Load this on ALL THREE hero monks, and bring Devona (or any melee) and watch the fun happen. In Shard of Orr, I also bring both hench monks for extra healing.
