Hell bent on spoiling other people's fun and hard work.
Tonight I was in a group running to Beacon's from Yak's. One guy in the group that was level 9, said he was on his 6th try for survival title, guild mate was running him. I didn't mention I was working on it too. A level 3 E/Mo was trash talking survivors in general, "Quitters", "Worthless Title", etc... When we reached Anvil Rock and the runner had taken off, the E/Mo shouted "Survive this!!" Ran over and aggroed the mob of Minataurs and ran back towards us, typing, "Rofl", "lmao", "Bitch." Party wipe, and all the little @$$hole could do was laugh. Several very unhappy people quit, including the runner.
Why do people hate Survivors so much? Is it because they can't play smart enough to get it, so they are going to try and screw up other's hard work?
How many here hate survivors enough to do the same thing?
Why are people so ........

OP, just wait until that person tries to beat the juggling guiness world record.
When they have almost beaten it, just knock the balls away and say 'juggle that'.
I'm just being silly.
It's too bad some people aren't satisfied enough with who they are and what they do, they have to find ways to discriminate and pick on people who aren't like them.

I never will understand why people are so concerned with what others are doing in their leisure time. And I will never understand people who hate a certain title so much that they will go out of their way to ruin it for others (although, as Jake said, griefers hate everyone. It may be that they just want to try and make their lives mean something by ruining it for those who are actually experiencing some enjoyment).
Sure, people going for survivor are more likely to flee if they are likely to die, which may tip the balance against the rest of the party. However, most survivors only party with other people for extremely hard missions, or to get run to other places. I guess the stereotype that survivors are just cowards who ruin the fun for other players is the same as any other. True in some cases, but the majority are entirely different.

If there weren't any people who got disgruntled over what other people do in video games, gaming forums would cease to exist.
But seriously, I'm sorry to hear about that. Griefers thrive in part from the reactions they receive from their victims and in part from gloating about it with all of their buddies whenever they aren't lamenting over why their parents won't let them shop at hot topic.

I dislike the survivors who get it by quitting and leeching, but I still wouldn't go THAT far. I only recently started booting them off my teams. :P
I just don't get griefers. How sad do you have to be to get joy from screwing up someone else's style of gameplay? I was running my necro (level 20, with heroes) through earlier Proph quests for no particular reason. There weren't many LFG at the pass, so I joined up with a derv who claimed to be helping with the mission. It was me, one of my heroes, the derv, and three low-levels. As soon as we started the mission the derv started spamming racial slurs and filling the chat screen with "LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL". Two beacons later, he was like "Hey guys wanna see a magic trick, watch me disappear!"
I can't believe he even bothered to quit with me there. We still got mission and bonus, even if I had to help the other players kind of a lot. One guy kept asking my hero where they got their elite. XD
Welcome to Guild Wars, god save your soul if you PUG.
Edit: Grats on Survivor 3 anyway, Kyrein.

That is why whenever you use a survivor character you get a friend/ someone to run you and only you. Then you can have your friend bring heroes or person running to bring henchies and flag them with you.
Never let survivor characters near other people, unless you know them. Too many idiots who think it's all just fun and games to kill you.

The only reason I dislike the survivor title (and this is a deep seated hatred in me) is because people will NOT warn you that they're survivors, hang back in a 'safety zone' when you're getting the crap beat out of you, then leave so they don't die, which leaves you hanging or dead. it's annoying as hell. FFS if you're going for survivor, stay out of the elite missions, PLEASE tell people you are so they can decide if they want to take you with them or not, and don't be jerks about it. Having 1 survivor leave and/or not help because they don't want to risk it can make the difference in a lot of missions and dungeons.
