"Sword Still Brings Victory"

This is stilla beta sort of build I think it works excellent in missions though.

This are the results of 1 vs 1 battles:

Out of the 6, 1 vs 1 battles. All 6 rated my build 5/5. 2 People said it was unbeatable. There was only 1 person who was able to get my health below 50%. And that was without Mystic Regeneration.

Here are the skills I use:

Dragon Slash (Elite)
Sun and Moon Slash
"For Great Justice!"
Heart of Fury
Mystic Vigor
Mystic Regeneration
Watchful Intervention
Faithful Intervention

Cast Faithful Intervention >
Before Battle Cast Watchful Intervention, Mystic Vigor >
When going to attack Cast Heart of Fury, "For Great Justice!" >
Spam Dragon Slash and SMS >
Cast Mystic Regen if you get in trouble >
Keep it up like that.
(This was just wroted real quick)

Anyway when you use Dragon Slash + FGJ You will get 8 rage. Allowing you to use SMS and gets you on 12 rage in DS (there was already 8 there) allowing you to keep spamming those 2 skills for 20 seconds and +33% faster.
Mystic Vigor keeps you alive with 75 health in like 1.5 seconds from DS and SMS if you keep up all enchanments.

Ill write a big guide later on this then you will all understand everything.

Im still doubting about swords though here's my choices:

Health + 30 or Ench +20%

Ench is nice for longer keep up so you dont have to spam your 1-8 buttons so much. Health +30 is just nice :P

Anyway I just want your opionon on this build and maybe some improvements?

1v1...? how useful

and it's ADRENALINE, not rage damit

1v1 doesn't tell much in terms of actually efficiency in a game like Guild Wars -.-

I really don't understand why you'd run so many enchantments and a sword...

Who exactly did you 1v1 and what professions / builds were they running? Were they actually people of skill or random people from RA? Something like a CripShot would beat you easily...and things like a BSurge would shut you down hard. Anti-melee hexes could probably beat you too.

Your build is lacking hex removal (which will screw you over if they are anti-melee hexes), condition removal (cripple, blind, dazed), a running skill, etc...


I rate it like a 2/5...

Hmm... They were dervish/elementist and it survived the crappy blind. And yes it weakness is enchament remove. Also I tested it aroud Tyrian for mission build and it just works excellent with it. And why would crip shot OWN ME HARD? It only cripples ? And I don't use blocks? And like the only person who did almost beat me cuz he used the avatar of Lyssa and hitted sometimes around the 150 cause I was casting and I had that HP back in 3-4 seconds. And yes I think BSurge can own me but name 1 build that can't get owned.

EDIT: About anti melee hexes? Empathy won't work cause of 25 health per hit +9 regen from Mystic Regen. But like shatter enchament could own me.

You know...there are more anti-melee hexes than just Empathy >.> You wouldn't get the 25 health per hit because you wouldn't be able to hit. You wouldn't get the +9 regen because of something called enchantment removal.

Crippling Shot is unblockable, by the way... though I don't know why you brought that up, your build doesn't include a block skill.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, my dervish has been collecting dust for a few months, but doesn't a Scythe deal almost double the damage of a sword?

15-22 vs 9-41....

And a Dervish can hit multiple foes + has 2 skills with 3/4sec activation times...

Now if your a Dervish/war maybe you could pump up some points in Tactics for Thrill of Victory or Soldiers Strike, but not really sure why you would need them...

I've seen a Steady Stance/Drunken blow/Desperation blow build that works, but for the love of my 20+ cool looking swords why on earth would you want to use a Sword on a Dervish???

Adrenaline denial, enchantment removal, or almost any caster could kill this build. Also 1 vs 1 is pretty pointless in gw and doesn't really prove much.

A Mesmer can beat you - Anti melee, e denial
A Ranger can beat you - cripshot
A Monk can beat you - i think with a monk spike i can beat this
A Necromancer can beat you - Anti melee
A Elementalist can beat you - Blind
A Paragon can beat you - Cripple + deepwound + high damage
An Assassin can beat you - Shattering assault etc
A Ritualist can beat you Wanderlust + Diss + shadowsong
A Warrior can beat you - many many ways, he can do it better at his own game anyway :\
A Dervish can beat you - you said it yourself - lyssa beat you

Need i say more?

lastly, i can beat you

He's pro because:

a) He uses a sword on a dervish.
b) He spends half his bar on heals and interventions.
c) His retard guild / friendslist can't beat his shit build, and don't know wtf this is: [skill]Rend Enchantments[/skill]
