what is the rarest item dropped by ANY foe IYO

In your opinion, what item do you think it's the rarest dropped by monsters (other than keys, golds, and lockpicks)?

My opinion is the diessa chalice, I did an ENTIRE run through the dungeon and killed the final necro boss and NEVER got one. And you need 50 of them for blindfold (100 for me, I want them for my elementalist and my dervish). So I say they are the rarest item dropped by a foe in the game (rarer than elite tomes).

So what in your opinion is the rarest item dropped by any foe?

The rarest item, will always be something related to that particular thing that you need/want.

Platinum. I've seen things drop gold, maybe even thousands of gold (can't remember), but never actually platinum coins.

Then you'd go to the Central Transfer Chamber and talk to the weapons dwarf. =O

Rarest thing.. eh.. for me it'd be a Colossal Scimitar, because after endless weeks and hours upon hours I've never had one drop, I gave up and bought one instead.

I always keep wishing for one of those swords that do blunt damage, a Jitte, but have never gotten one as of yet.

For me it must be Fenrir's bastion. I must've killed that guy 1000 times in the last week... No shield.

Rarest thing dropped by any foe? I assume this doesn't include dungeon chests, PvE chests or PvP Chests.

When only enemies are taken into account, probably some sort of Req 9 Non inscribable perfect stat shield with a rare skin. (Tyrian Req 9 +30 -20/20% Magmas Shield or something.)

But in the day of req 7's and un-conditional glitched weapons, req 7 Dwaren Axe 15% 20/20 +30hp Since crystallines dropped alot more than dwarens.

True, but then that would make it super-duper rare! Also, if I'm not mistaken, Onyx Gemstones have dropped from any random creature since the beginning, they were just insanely rare. Other than quest rewards/dungeon chests, I think they may still drop, and just might be the rarest rare material drop in the game. I could be mistaken, though.

Ive NEVER seen perfect plauge stuff.

it seems no matter which character I try with I cant seem to get the mindclouder to drop (did too many runs with many different characters to mention)....I heard its very easy to get, but not for me.

the ancient moss staff never have I seen one of them in person, the topaz scepter and the icicle staff too seem to be harder for me to get...and that enameled shield, ah well.....

as for what I think is rare? an outcast staff or plagueborn staff with max damage.
