Things you would like to see during Canthan New Year

LOL, a friend of mine and I went to quite a few of the events, storing a lot of them pigs (I had up to 12 of the little runts), because we thought they were going to go up in price..... needless to say it was a BAD move, and we got so pissed that we tried to unleash the fury of the pigs upon an unsuspecting Ascalon...meh, it didn't work

Fireworks and a Mini Rat. Not to mention the obligatory boardwalk games I never attend. Though... a new Boardwalk game would be fun!

Save the GW2 hints for Dragonfest, so they can continue the tradition of the '06 festival.

<3 5 minute alcohol. If they keep the 240 collectible quest chain, I'll be an Incorrigible Connaisseur after the event. The rest I honestly don't give a damn about.

I think I still have 524 Fortunes. Gotta get to usin' them some time.

Edit: Used. Got 17 plat and one pig, and about 180 fireworks. Kinda disappointing, really.

those victory token quest where from dragon fest, not canthan new year.

I'd like some news on whether the event will return, to be honest. They would probably need to create new content for the finale, after all.

They had their little "acting" thing last year...

...this year? They should litter the quests, rewards etc with the word "fail", occasionally qualified with the terms "epic" or "massive" or "you", just to take the piss out of the forum rats.

"Fail Tokens"... when nobody wins the rings, "Haha, you all fail"... if you screw up the missions, "Your party failed utterly"... you get the drill.

Really I wouldn't mind canthan new year being a replay of last year but with rats of course. Mini pets, fortunes, quests, boardwalk games, races, dragon arena. In my opinion it has the most activities. To be honest Canthan new year is my favorite in-game holiday and the only way they could turn it into an epic failure is by not having the event at all.

No minipets that everyone and his brother gets six of without trying. (The minipig might not have been EPIC FAIL if it had been semi-scarce.)

Wrong festival buddy. That was the Dragon Festival. The first Dragon festival was supposed to be some once every 1000 year thing, but we got a second one because they were reenacting the defeat of the demons that ruined the first dragon festival or something like that....

The last new year was the cooking one with the ingredients and we had to feed the celestial pig.

I hope this time its going to be spread the pestilence for the rat. See how many towns you can bring disease to.

Oh and a mini rat. And I hope the mask is a big ugly rat head.
