merchant credit

Im sure A-net are still haveing trouble with gold sales, I have an idea Why doesn't A-net sell credit points like 100k for 5bucks that could be used on merchans and crafting material? The catch will be anything you buy with the credit would be custom to you (custom ecto, iron, salvage kit, rice wine ect ect ect) Maybe even let the armor guys take credits. just am idea

Edit: Dont tell me its so hard to buy those materials.. takes like 1-5 mins to get them on kamadan on a fair price. Your suggestion is only about buying gwgold for real money tbh. I'm not closed minded, I feel more likely a normal person because I dont pay real money for gwgold (or materials, whatever).

this is just an idea for a net to make some extra cash durring down time to maybe help them from rushing on turing out games, And remeber no one said you have to buy the credits but it would be there if you needed for armor materials if needed. they could even make it so you can not buy anything from other players with them. No. Do not want. Getting in game items for real life money is ftl.

1) It takes less time to make the equivalent amount IRL than it does to farm the gold.

2) They should have taken note of this fact back when fully outfitted PvE characters were important in PvE, and there were a lot of expensive things in the market.

3) Now? Probably not worth it.

It doesn't matter if you use the gold for things you can use only in your characters. By getting gold you can use in some stuff, the gold you earn can be used for anything else. So it could be like any other gold-selling.

stupid, greedy people? I'm poor ingame myself and I don't think people should be able to show their e-peen because they are stupid enough to buy pixels with USD. Merchant credits, as you say, would stupify most titles, too- Drunkard, Sweet Tooth, Wisdom, Treasure Hunter, citing the most obvious ones.

Even if they did, they would have to make the items unsellable because all you would have to do is buy the item and sell it back, boom, instant gold.

Most people are concerned about the absurd amount of time it takes, not the money. Last I checked, it actually requires you to do something (extremely repetitive) over and over again. Sure, it costs money, but it is the cost of time that makes it a bitch.
