wintersday drops suck!!!but golds better

hi i have been doing the rapter farm did 10 runs and what i got is kinda funny.

26 golds 1 ele swords req 10
1 candy cane shard

thats it, i m happy with the golds dropping better there but , that place was always good to farm event drops.

anyone else having bad drops for the weekend event

havent tried yet, is that 1 run or overall?

what was the ration before and now?

as of now i have done 29 runs from 12pm start of event til now 12 23

got 32 golds
stillonly one cc shard

Candy Cane Shards have always had a rather low drop rate compared to other event items. I farmed the Underworld snowball quests for them last year.

No, I'm pretty sure during wintersday, only candy cane shards drop. And then later, at the end of the event, you can trade them in for Wintersday gifts.

I've only gotten 1 shard so far, but I also got a Gold, R6, 10-16 damage sword doing the first grench quest! (Mods weren't anything special, either!)

I haven't even got 1 CCS yet 4 hours playing and this is in pre where last year
LOTS dropped at lest 2 outside ascalon each run time.
WAIT wasn't event items supposed to be exempt from loot scaling or whatever you want to call it ????????????

3 CC shards and 12 ectos in 4-5 UW runs.. I dont mind the increase in the ecto drops, could care less about the crummy CC shards

nope, not one candy cane shard drop. Been farming with an e/mo terra tank with searing flames in hard mode and haven't got one yet.

If anyone asks, i'm getting the decayed orr emblems for the holiday items.

I have gotten 3 CC shards from on Vanquishing run in Cantha. Though I have been vanquishing all day and have only got 4 total...

Whilst vanquishing Old Ascalon today I got 4 candy cane drops. And thats with a team of 4, I think that rate is ok. Id rather they weren't dropping like flies.

So they say Ella, but also I thought pre was exempt from loot scaling aswell, and no farming code (Istill think there is > . > )

for some reason, when i play normal mode and wintersday questing in elona, i get the candy cane shards.

Vanquished one area in the Tyrian desert in party of 6 - got 7 CC shards. Did a GOK run and never got any

I just got four CC shards from a group of seven Skale out in Mehtani Keys.

Drop rate seems to be picking up.

Drop rate definitely increased, or it was just different from NM to HM and was/is rare in HM. I farmed raptors several times and got six golds but no CCS, then started killing gargoyles outside Nolani and I now have 12 after twenty minutes.

Just finished fow clearout NM with the guild, something like 15 shards dropped....and many golds. Something wrong? :look:

so wait, does this mean the drop rate of golds is increased for wintersday? cause 26 golds in 10 runs is a lot more than i ever would get. as for the CCS's, i havent been doing a whole lot of farming, but i managed to get 1 or 2 from doing greatest snowman ever made. heres a tip for those who think its not worth farming for the shards. SNOWBALL ARENA. its fun AND you get shards from winning :P
