Disconnecting friends list

All morning my friends list has kept disconnecting! I have to sign into it continuously! Could it be my connection that is stuffing up or a bug?
(This has never happened before)

From what I've seen, any network interruption between your PC and ANET's servers cause the friends list to disconnect. Your character's login session seems to have built-in recovery, but your friends-server connection drops regardless. It's kinda funny that it works this way, but that's what I've observed...

it's a connection issue- I also get this if I load GW on a second machine and it auto-connects to my primary account before I can stop it.

This has been persisting all day! I restarted my connection twice...still does it!

Some of my european friends have been having the same problems for a few months now. Apparently there is nothing you can do on your end. It's in Anet's hands unfortunately.

I was having the same problem around a year ago, and it was very frustrating. Since then I've changed internet provider and now I don't get disconnected from the friends list every 10 minutes.

I'd ask your internet provider or support whether there is something you can do about it or not. I think my problem was related to DNS issues, but not sure.
