New Build Today Ursan Related

Ursun strike requires you to touch your target instead of distance, first thing I noticed :O not to bad though

Is it blind affected? please say it aint so.

Touch=/=Melee

Im in a mallyx group right now and blind doesnt effect it by missing =D

um, are you using the ursan blessing you get in the quest "Blood Washes Blood"? That one is touch only and is different to the elite skill Ursan Blessing.

At least caster classes will have a harder time... MORE NERF PLZ! Really, I don't mind it half as much, but in my opinion only wars should be able to truly tank effectively with this skill by itself.

There's nothing in the update notes on the official site about skill changes.

It doesnt have to be mentioned, like I said I used Ursun Strike while in a mallyx group, It makes my character touch the person im targetting no longer distance

I've just tested it out and ursan strike only works when you're right next to your target instead of being on the edge of the targets aggro bubble.

I guess Anet was hoping we wouldn't notice. LOL!

I'm guessing they've changed it to the way it was supposed to work to start with. How would a bear maul from range? :P Really didn't make much sense that the 2 versions of the skill worked differently, but either way is good. I may be biased as I always use melee weapons when using Ursan.

Now, if only they'd let Ursan Force break through walls/barriers...

That's not bad for UBers is it? Glad to see Anet didn't go overboard. Of course, there will still be the whiners who want it nerfed more, but ah well.

Looks like they fixed it. I was wondering why I could use Ursan Strike from a long distance with the elite skill compared to the Blood washes Blood variant.

Great, just great... because of some complaining aNet takes out the nerf bat to Ursan Strike. And I don't complain much about nerf bats, but I'm ticked.

Folks like me (mesmer) and the rest will not be able to do Mallyx... back to cookie cutter builds for that.

You know, when they come with something cool, like this PVP only skill...

flame me if you like, but I know I'm not the only one... there's a lot of unhappy casual players (not just the farmers).

acceptable nerf imo, i guess it makes it convienient to get up close for ursan rage anyway

YAy they nerfed it? it was waaaaaaaay overpowered for PvE !

I play a mesmer and i always been able to join some for DoA , UW or FoW it's the people who needs an adjustment.

amen. these god damn whiners qqing about how ub made doa obselete, really need to get over themselves. those comments were the same ones discriminating and preventing others from getting into groups. nice to hear that if i whine loud enough, i could get something too. lets see what we could whine about next.....how about luxon and kurz title tracks being too high?

Never had problem playing with mesmers in high-end areas, just group with friends or guildies if ever necessary.

Never did UB, never will.

It is a mind numbingly boring button mash fest.

I advise against trying it.
