Is it possible to run this mission? I've heard claims that contradict each other, and I want to make sure before I sign up for a "run" (yes, I know I'm lazy). I just got scammed twice today from people who claimed to be able to "run" the mission and I really don't want it to happen again...

Don't pay up front [you noob!].

A run in this definition means you sit there and do nothing while a player and AI do the mission for you.

The above can be done with any mission except the solo ones.

Considering that Shiro and the Lich are easily defeated by pulling to the gate and Spoil Victor, the whole difficulty in the mission is getting to the temple. Any half decent hero build would be able to win with the two monks and the motivation paragon in tow, leaving one plum spot for a bookah.

Not that I have any idea what these "runners" are running.

i never had the mission run for me, but i've seen people offering so i don't think it is a scam, just don't pay up front. (personally, [skill]spoil victor[/skill] owns shiro and just work down lich and trigger all the shrines and it is an easy mission)

If people won't agree to run if they're not paid up-front it's more than likely a scam.

If people will work out with you a payment process (this amount here, here, and at the end or whatever) it's more than likely a touch safer..

But scamming unfortunately happens, it's a risk one has to take with being ran.

either get a runner you can trust (guru service threads offer many of such services) or get guildies to run or help u

mission runners do have the same risk ie the customer running off without paying after the mission

so one way or another, someone got to take the risk... but 99% of the time, DO NOT PAY UPFRONT

Just never pay upfront. Remember, these people are strangers too.

It cannot be run. They can do it for you while you stand around but that's not running.
But running is being used a lot in very loose terms, so basically they are offering you to do the mission for you as it is possible to do it with 7 without problem and number 8 can just stand around and do nothing. But they will have to fight their way through since there is no choice.
Elona Reach or Sanctum Cay are missions that are being run. There you can speak of running.
But then people will run the last mission/quest in GWEN for you which means a 55 type monk does the fight for you...so not really running but it's the term people use for it.

i can do it with with 3 heros and 2 henchies, its no biggie.

It's possible to run (complete, kill shiro, etc, with bonus) it, either with the group helping, or with H/H alone.

I used to do it all the time for 30-60k per player.

I had someone run this mission for my dervish once. He took 3 heroes too, and it cost 10k. He killed Lich, ran back to us, collected the cash, then ran back and killed Shiro. So I guess certain people can run it. Which is good for me, I hate that mission. hehe

Yea, I just got it run yesterday by someone from GWG for 10k. Nice guy he was. Let me pay at the end too.

Shiro is very easy .. at begining i think its one of the hardest mission on NF ,
its easy .
Take Hero SS,MM,SV , very good skill is empathy (mesmer) , but .. shiro take of all conditions and hex .. .. im a mesmer i use echo + empathy double .. when he take of i put again and he do by self ~300dmg onetime ..
wery quick and fast, very nice skill is Pain Inverter, only after that when shiro take of all conditions and hex.

MM is useful for bonus .. because shiro allways attack on Flesh Golem

if u fail 3 - 5 times with hex, shiro can kill all ur party in 30-50sec .. sometimes the shiro have 50hp and u fail with SV,SS or empathy .. they can kill all party, then the mision and bonus is lost :P
dont fail in hex , watch the hex on shiro all the time , work with hero .. !!

Yes, people run them and you can either go afk or help them in the fight. The mission should run approximately 7k not more. The legit runners usually want their money at the end of the mission or they might ask for a portion upfront but not all. So, if they ask for the money upfront don't do it.

Everyone that needs someone to run him through mission deserves to be scammed.

You got scammed twice, my advice is to try again, maybe you get scammed a third time!

I call it the scrub risk. You are a scrub, you are totally depending on the good will of others to bring you through. Maybe getting scammed twice and seeing that some people can do this mission will make you try harder yourself.

Geez, what's wrong with you? Since when was it a crime to be lazy?

And I hope you won't be devastated to know that I finished it already...

I run people in other missions - people are lazy, stupid and impatient.

I can run any mission in the game (including GWEN). PM me to ask for my services.

It's a crime since the same time came about to whine about being lazy when you have been lazy and someone flames you for it. Don't be such a wuss that people despise you for your laziness...or if you don't like it then don't be lazy and they'll leave you alone and maybe even help you.

Now that you have completed the mission (hopefully you played it) you have much more to appreciate about the game and your ability, and maybe something to be proud of.... and you get to keep your gold. Woot! =)
