A fun way once you have done the Norn primaries and then obtained Ursan Blessing from a secondary quest is to get in a all Urasn HM rep farming team out of Olafstead in Varajar Falls

You have 6k norn? If you haven't already turned a hero's handbook in, complete EotN then give it to the norn, and you then you'll have the rep needed for your armor.

It's no longer necessary to farm to get to rank 5 for armor, period. Just do a few quests, play through the primary story missions, turn in your handbook, and you're done. Farming is for people that want to max the title (and even then HM handbook "abuse" is your best option.)

Just following the story line and doing the dungeons in Norn area netted me over 16K

You can fill a normal hero book in about 5 hours : it is worth 20000. You can only do normal hero books up to level 8, then you must do HM.

I also use books, still quite a bit of grinding to do and repeating of the same missions, works tho

i started GWEN with my warrier yesterday so that i can get the norn armor. if you have hardmode unlocked just start vanquishing areas, it soon adds up. i have done much or even played that much on my warrier in GWEN and i have done the curse of the nornbear quest, vanquished two areas and hve 8k norn points.

It might not be the quickest way but it is fairly enjoyable and you get gold

I decided to go for Asuran armour though, got to lvl 5 in about a week, shouldn't take long if you go on lengthy killing sprees Just remember to talk to one of the Norn guys before you begin, I went on a rampage a few times and after about 30-40 kills I realised I hadn't spoken to a Norn/Asuran to start the bonus

Filling a HM handbook cost me 4 hours and get 30000 points + 2700 random points for completing the quests.
Most pri. quests can be done alone with heroes and hench.
2 pri. quests must be done with 2 man or even better with more.

Good luck...

Work towards the Eye of the North title track and you'll get most of it done. Vanquishing does add plenty of rep points

I only partially fill hard-mode hero handbooks with exclusively hero/hench.

Free
The Beginning of the End
The Missing Vanguard
Northern Allies
The Knowledgeable Asura
Against the Destroyers

Really easy
Against the Char
Curse of the Nornbear
A Time for Heroes

Moderately easy (meaning there may be a few team wipes)
Assault on the Stronghold
Genius Operated Living Enchanted Manifestation

The other ones take more time and effort. However, turning in this partial book results in 4.5k rep and 900 gold per run with minimal time and effort. Vanquishing an area the first time is also useful if you are going for the other title otherwise the rewards are not usually worth it the second time around.

All of the primary quests can be done in HM with Heroes and Henchmen with a reasonable amount of effort. I didn't time it, so I don't know how long it took - definitely longer than 4 hours, but probably not more than 6. The hardest ones (for me) were: Destruction's Depths, Blood washes Blood, Assault on the Stronghold. It may be economical to skip these 3 quests and do the others, and turn in the handbook, similar to what ump was suggesting above.

The missions are easier than vanquishing or most of the dungeons, in my opinion, and definitely faster.

Another easy one is Finding the Bloodstone... Start Point: Gadd's Encampment.
