Air of Superiority

Hello friends

A little talk about Air of Superiority.

Is this skill REALLY worth using one of 8 skills slots for? I am aware of the random benefits from the skill.

But if your running Air of Superiority, how probable do you guys think that something like Seed of Life will get the recharge?

I just havent used the skill on my Monk yet, only on a Warrior, which I found the results to be so/so.

quick side note , i run this skill on my dervish , its awesome, either e , condition removal , skill rech, woo.

Yes it would be godly and used if used with a good team, it seems more of a tank+healer build... were only 1 person needs the prot...

I used it on my mesmer and it's very good, but that's because a lot of mesmer skills have long recharge and high energy demand.
There is a fair chance a mesmer build can benefit from the benefit.

On a monk, it's too unreliable to be very usefull.
You don't want to wait for a possible energy benefit or possible recharge.
You want things available the moment you need them and AoS does not support that.
In the monk builds I use, AoS would weaken it.

this skill has no real space on a monk's bar.

besides, monk bars are already reaaaaaaaaaaaally filled..don't try to pack more in there.

Besides.... the quest you get Air of Superiority from is better used for farming Norn Faction.

The only actual use for the skill is in Secret Lair of the Snowmen... where things die so damned frequently that it'll buff you through the roof.
