need advice

i need some help on beatting the doppleganger, that dude messes me up everytime i fight him so any help would be appreciated.

Can you tell us your secondary profession? Can you change it (Nightfall or Cathan character)?

There are many ways to beat your doppleganger.

The old way was to use smiting with healing breeze, but I think they fixed it so the doppleganger will now use healing breeze, but I could be wrong about the fix.

What is your 2ndary profession?

My Mo/E used all ele spells. If you went Mo/N, then sacrifice spells will work. If you had Mo/Me, then use backfire and have lots of fast casting spells.

Remember, the doppleganger will have better armor, better weapons, and have more power than you (since you do not have all 200 attribute points yet).

There is thread that tells you exactly how to beat the doppleganger using any and all professions.

Use little healing as possible, as the doppleganger will heal a lot better than you, thus negating any damage you deal it (in comparison to healing yourself).

i just murderd him and it was beautiful. i used essence bond, balthazors spirit, reversal of fortune, zealots fire, and retribution. no healing spells. all i did was cast reversal of fortune and through zealots fire and retribution he killed himself under 10 min.

I was going to suggest the old Healing Breeze trick. The only skill you bring is Healing Breeze and just keep it up constantly and wand him to death. He wont use Healing Breeze to heal himself for some reason. I just tried it and it still works.

Your way sounds like more fun though. 8)
