Halloween 07...Is there going to be one?

The Halloween festival is brilliant, one of the best events I have seen in any game. Some tweaks would be nice, but I don't see what the big deal is. They're busy working on GW2 now, and could just as well not give us anything.

Or can you only enjoy things that are completely 100% new and original?
It's just a bit of fun, sheesh.

Or perhaps they are going to modify how your characters look ? Or maybe at least let us get dressed up for Halloween which would be cool

Hmmmm. Mystery item?? Probably some sort of candy corn weapon that they think is funny and neat.

I sure would prefer something useful in game. The birthday cupcakes were great, the candy canes were great, the easter eggs were ok. All the sugar rush stuff, blurry effect booze, etc.--no thx.

The description on the site says the mystery items drop (just like easter eggs, etc). So doubt its those weapons again.

and when will they announce the winners for that contest (I know they will put it up sometime in November)....I entered and well, I know that I dont stand a snowballs chance, but I would like something emailed to me saying at least 'tanks for entering, but your entry was sh*t so you didnt win nothin'....'
instead of having to wait to find out WHO did win. (and search in vain for my name in the list).

I just wish there was a confirmation email saying that your entry was even received. After all the work I put in I hope the server didn't eat it somehow. (For any who remember my mini-monk from last year, this year's entry is 4x as good.)

Yay for holiday events and for kids going off with their grandparents for a few hours. I will get to spend at least 4 hours playing. *lol*

Honestly, I'm sick of all the PvE bonus items. GWEN made all of it redundent anyway, with the purchaseable consumables.

Multiple Mystery Items would be pretty sweet though...

With Hats and Minipets out, though, I suspect a consumable will be the Mystery Item.

On the Halloween Brawl thread, it was suggested the item would be a Tonic that transforms you to one of the "costumed" NPCs. That would be great, IMO.

I can really see that new mystery item as just a sugar rush item.
