GWEN HM drops?

is it me or do the drops in HM seem not much better, mind you my experience is from 3-8 H+h wurm farming but I'm noticing no real difference in rate of golds/purples or such from NM. Vanquished one zone and got a single gold the entire time, where as during a 8 H+H wurm farm I can get 1-2 just doing the SS/LB run.

If you only did 1 zone then it's probably down to luck.

Nahhhh I've been through a few zones, thats just one zone I completly vanquished with about 500 kills so you would think you get some more then 1 gold from that. Sides I'm also asking others that have done more HM here, and more HM in other campaigns and just curious how this one compares.

vanqed a zone with guildies. H/Hed a few without. 1 dungeon under my belt since the weekend started.

90% of my golds came from chest drops...and over half the chests wielded purples that ate my lockpick.

Strange you should mention this! I haven't had a single drop, bar money, in HM yet!

I did Fronis Irontoe's dungeon in HM and got 3 golds and a FoW Scroll. One of the them was a long sword (yay) with high req and crap mods (boo!)

Ya HM drops in GW:EN suck, I've cleared 5 areas and got a total of 3 gold items. Alot of white, few grapes. The only good thing about HM is working on, or grinding titles.

Did dual smite on shards of orr in hard mode.

managed to kill all but fendi and his gang, (was 1 player + his dunkuro) and i've had 1 rare to drop... without inscription slot

and almost every white/blue item that dropped there was non max even in hm (of lvl 26 skeletons tsk)

didn't see anything worth farming yet, but fronis irontoe might work altough it's slow

I have run thru several zones in HM and found only the gold drops are higher then in NM. Not a single gold weapon dropped during that time, a few purples and lots of whites tho.

Went Vanquishing and Asura point famring and 2 ele swords dropped in the same run.

Well i found out that the Punchout Extransa was a lacking in NM when i did it in NM wow. 1 gold from a chest a run and atleast a Gold Drop. in 2 runs with my key not breaking i got 4 golds-2 from chest and 2 from drops easy. I was surpised to see this on HM of EoTN. So HM in EoTN is bad for grp but if you solo it might get some decent rewards but it all down to luck if you get a good drop or not.

Today I've dropped 3 golds in HM. Did not play hard mode all day though

I'm thinking it's just bad luck. My mate and I did the Frostmaw dungeon, and on our way there decided to kill a few beasties on the way to see what the drops are like, and also how hard it really is. I didn't get any golds (except for a chest) and my mate got 3 on our way there. And a few in the dungeon. Haven't done much Hard Mode since. That's just my experience after a brief visit in HM.

I've vanquished 2-3 zones and tried a dungeon or two in HM, and I've gotten one gold weapon drop (req13 focus), three purples, the rest white (and not too many of those, by the way). The one chest I opened (directly by a boss in the Cathedral) dropped a purple. The only notable improvement from NM is in the gold pieces drops. In HM they drop 100-110 gold pieces, when they drop them at all. That's a lot better than the drops in EotN in NM (which were pathetic at around 30-70 gp), but sadly is about on par with NM gold pieces drops in high-end areas of Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall. All in all, quite disappointing.

Only HM I did was snowman dungeon for deldrimor points and wasn`t anything more or less than I could hope or expect. Got a few golds which for a low drop area was pretty good. Looked normal for HM so far.

I really need to try it out more though. For the 1st few weeks in GWEN I had more greens than golds which seemed very odd but I have been finding more golds recently and less greens in NM. Maybe I was lucky but I have been after a dolyak prod staff for my ele and got my 2nd one yesterday (req 10), only the 3rd i`ve seen so far so I`m off to kill more frozen eles this coming week.

I`m wondering if there was a sneaky fix added to the update?

Next time I gotta remember to take lockpicks, got so used to not taking them in GWEN.

Been playin hard mode in GW:EN for the entire weekend and where are these Gold drops you guys are talking about but for that matter where are the drops I had better luck in NM

Funny, because I got a bunch of gold drops during this weekend. One go through a zone is not indicative of drops as a whole.

Did Frostmaw yesterday in Hard Mode for the first time with some guildmates.

Finished the run OK and klilled Frostmaw.

I was very happy to see a Silverwing Recurve bow drop out of the chest, but.. it was not max!! It was 14-28 - grrrrr..

It seems a bit silly to me to have the reward chest at the end of a five level dungeon in Hard Mode drop a non-max weapon.

I've played through the entire Hero's Handbook in HM and have only gotten a couple crappy golds, no tomes, elite or otherwise. I thought it was just more of my bad luck.
