Light of Deldrimor....UPDATE

10-12-07 Update says

Improved rewards from Eye of the North chests revealed by the Light of Deldrimor skill in both Hard and Normal Mode.

Well I USED to get between 100-200 gold from hidden treasures....now I'm getting 37 gold and such.

So HOW is this IMPROVED?

First level rewards are less than 100g, later levels will give you more money.

That's my point....I WAS getting 100-200 gold per chest....now less than 50g....

SO BASICALLY....it DEGRADED not IMPROVED in normal mode!!!!

Did Cathedral just now...
1st lvl...50-ish gold
2nd lvl...100-ish gold
3rd lvl...rare materials including leather square, bolt of linen, and GASP a dungeon map =.=||

all of this is in HM

still need to do more runs to determine if it's worth a skill slot. (of cuz it's worth if you're fighting undead XD)

when they nerfed DoA chest spawn, they said they improved chest spawn in DoA in the update notes

Ok I found out for myself....1st lvl or so...chest SUCK...sometimes 20 gold etc...then the last level...150+ gold or so....

So basically....the chest even out to the same or ACTUALLY you get less!!!

Yeah, i just got 34 gold from a chest. Its not really worth having LoD on my bar anymore.

I got a lockpick in HM, from Cathedral of Flames lvl 2.

I got a ruby, roll of parchment, lockpick, and up to 287 gold out of all of frostmaw hard mode. Other party members got dungeon map and lockpicks. I used to get deldrimor steel and such before.

Well...LoD was nice for AoE Holy Damage (we AoE spiked Muraki's minions )

I got some piddly gold and a fur square in HM cathedral

A guildie got a lockpick in normal mode out of a hidden treasure.

got a lockpick in normal (lvl 3)

but the 20-50ish chests in 1st level didn't spawn at all before

Got an onyx gemstone out of one on Normal Mode, was quite surprised. (Cathedral of Flames lvl2)

did three dungeons in HM tonight with guildies.

drops ranged from 100-300 gold
lockpicks.
