Ok as you know ANET has added to new NPCs inside the training area of the Great Temple of Balthazar, one of which is the Master of Interrupts
When you get in radar range to him he activates Charm Animal on a fully evolved lvl20 Elder Wolf, it seems that the Master of Interrupts version of Charm Animal has ¼ second activation time, so I thought to myself there must be a way to prevent him using that skill, after a few minutes I came up with a solution.
behold my..I mean the Master of Interrupts Elder Wolf hehe
enjoy
Master of Interrupts pet now my pet lol

Yeah I figured the trick out quickly and capped the elder for a lot of my heroes, and then seeked out some people in Ascalon and Kamadan to help them cap it. It's not profitable or anything, it's just fun and useful for people.
What I found out is that my heroes retained the pets, but the people I helped might not have. For one person, the pet didn't appear outside of Kamadan, and I'm not sure about other people because I can't reach them. I might have a character I can test on later, but if you guys can post your findings that'd be nice too.
Thanks for the tip.

I've tried 3 times now with my W/R to cap the wolf... each time, I successfully get it, but after I leave the area it's like it never existed - I have no pet at all (Pet Tamers confirm this). I've named it in the Training Area, just in case that helped... it didn't, but when I capped it again, it was pre-named with the name I gave it last time.
My heroes, however, have no such problems. They get to keep theirs. My R/Mo did all of his heroes! (He himself is probably never going to get rid of his Stalker... even though it's fat and lazy... it's his friend, and he's had it since the day he was made). I tested it in a few explorable areas, and the heroes all bring their pets with them.
So... to the OP... do *you* still have the Elder Wolf in other explorable areas?
