Does the 10% ap on a hornbow stack with a sundering mod?

And also... Does the ap on sundering/penetrating attack stack with the above effects?

I'm afraid it doesnt stack, you either get the inherent 10% or the 20% (20% of the time), you never recieve 28% armour penetration (10% then 20% would be 28%). So to use sundering on a hornbow isnt utilising its main benefit effectively.

I guess I'll use another bowstring then... seems a bit pointless to use sundering on it...

Eh, its no more useless to have Sundering on a Hornbow than on any other type of bow. You still have the 20% AP 20% of the time, the only difference is that the other 80% of your attacks have 10% AP.

heck even compare it to elemental mods that bypass extra armor vs physical on warriors and such

heck even compare it to elemental mods that bypass extra armor vs physical on warriors and such I completely agree and wouldn't use Sundering myself, but I didn't want to risk starting a Sundering Rules vs. Sundering Sucks war.

Though according to the Guildwiki article, 5/-1 Vampiric Hornbows without an IAS skill still give you a very slight net HP loss due to being the slowest martial weapon in the game. All other bows have a net gain while attacking without IAS, however.
