Rep Point/Title Farming Services?...

Being a regular lurker on these boards, I've noted a few threads lamenting the "grind" required for GW:EN reputation points, and of course, for titles such as Sunspear and Lightbringer.

I was curious if anyone has run across rep point or title farming services for those seeking to profit from a player's desire for a maxed title, but without the interest to put in the time at the keyboard.

I'm not sure if it would violate the ToS, nor am I personally interested in such a service for myself - just curious...

well depends...if one person in the party gets the bounty does everyone? Not sure how you would setup a fee....do you set it up as xxx gold per xxx points? this would be interested in say one of the larger areas....you go and "vanquish" it with hero/hench and 1 other person....they either get bounty themselves and go afk or you get the bounty for the whole team...then they pay on the completion...a lot of honesty is involved...as with anything runs..chest running...etc...but i for one wouldn't mind making some extra cash as i am grinding away at rep points and the loss of 1 hench/hero wouldn't make that big of a difference.

Yeah for real. Who would be stupid enough to give their account info to a stranger. I know in real life circles people who do this, but a stranger?

I think he means joining a party and then going afk while the other person clears the area -

I would assume you still get the points while the other person is fighting across the map - but I don't know for sure.

he would at least need to talk to the first NPC at the rez shrine....no talkie no blessing....besides even if he did get the points from some one else killing things he would miss out on all the bonus points from other rez shrines and the random bonus awards.

Pretty sure it only works if you are in the radar range.

To system does not work that way, you would have to at least activate the first shrine and you would get a random bonus after every 25 kills (however i don't know if you have to be in reach of the group)

Most points are gained from the bonusses and visiting the shrines, which requires that you are at least present.

Also the bonusses are random, each team member can and will get other bonusses

So to maximaize the farming -- yes you would have to give your account info. But that would be very stupid.

The thought came to mind as I recalled the old Diablo II "leveling" services. My understanding is that players would pay real world money to have someone access their account and level their characters.

Just wondering if such a service existed in Guild Wars. It also comes to mind that a really good PvP player could offer such a service to increase PvP titles as well.

And very much agreed: giving out your account information to another is very risky indeed.

i have found that people say they want to grind out ss/lb titles but they just sit there and rack up points dont fight and pick up drops

so i guess you can consider that a way of not doing any of the work but collecting all the goods and reaping the benefits.

If it's possible, you can be sure someone offers it as a service, and then check in the service forum...

People do offer faction farming services by running repeatable quests, and of course you can get faction by leeching in alliance battles. I don't think it's possible with any other type.

No difference between that and the "Get your char to 20 with skillz fast!!!!1" services.

Anyone boneheaded enough to give away their account and password for ANYTHING WHATSOEVER deserves to lose it.
