Light of Deldrimor question

Do the markers ONLY show up ONCE? And once the beacon is out it is OUT?

They will show up for a short period of time (something like slightly longer than Light's CD I belive) and once you "trigger" the little blue ball on the ground, then it's triggered.

However you can re-trigger it after about 5 minutes.

Yeah you can definitely get the little beacons to relight after a time. All I've ever gotten is dwarven ghosts though. Woe is me.

Best I've got from it is a steel ingot lol

I haven't even found how to get Light of Deldrimor yet.... -_-;

Sometime some dots won't appear again. I suggest you to clear the area, then use the skill.

I actually had a ruby drop from the hidden treasures. I was rather giddy. All the hidden treasure drops I've seen so far (personal experience only) have been either gold or a rare materials... it appears to be a random rare material, so we may soon hear of someone getting an ecto from a hidden treasure.

Three hidden treasures last night: Two contained gold (about 170 ea) and the third had a fur square.

From what I've seen when you use LoD you'll get the beacons to light and a ping of where they are. Further uses of LoD will NOT give you a fresh ping for beacon locations until they go out. In this case you'll get a fresh beacon and a fresh ping.

I haven't seen a single occurrance of hidden treasures on level one of any dungeon. They've only shown up for me on levels two and deeper.

Ecto? Pfft, I've personally seen someone get an Onyx out of one.

There's 4 dungeons I've found to have secret switches, i forget exactly which at the moment (the ettin one, the spider one, shards of orr and one others i've done) but to be sure those usually have a few treasures behind those hidden doors. I've gotten onyx, diamonds, rubies, gold items, random rare materials like silk, ghostly dwarves (lvl 28 warrior type) and gold from them.

There is a time limit for those to show up it seems, but you can still stand over them and reveal even if the blue marker has faded.

I usually find only Dwarven ghosts in level 1. And 140..180 gold in hidden chests.

My best found was a diamond in the Temple of the Damned, level 3.

That light is sure worth bringing.

Im having trouble with the Secret Switch in Oola's Lab, wiki says its behind the lava, i have pinged everywhere and i cant find it.
Is it possible for a secret switch to move locations, or not show up at all.
This switch is driving me nuts..please post a screenshot of the switch if you can find it.

There's at least a couple of dungeons -- Cathedral of Flames?? Catacombs of Kathandrax?? -- where the pings are in lava pools. They always irritate me cause it's so hard to find them even if they are "glowing".

I wish "ping" equaled "unlock". I waste a lot of time "re-pinging". lol.

One thing that has helped out with Light of Deldrimor is [skill]Arcane Echo[/skill]: once for the ping and once for the unlock. (Works well for a double-Holy-Damage aoe zap, too.)
